I’ve voted ohare but suprised the votes for hamer are so low. He was literally doing everything for us first half of the season.

Agreed. It’s no coincidence that our results are better when Kelly is consistently starting. It really highlights the importance of good leadership on team.

He’s not my player of the season, but he’s certainly our most influential player.

And this is what slightly perturbs me about Matty James - surely a player with such experience should have been able to plug that Kelly-shaped gap more convincingly. That is the type of player we need, not someone else to play with Kelly, but someone to take some of the load off him.

But they are slightly different types of player. Kelly is more defensively minded than James.

When you look at the games he's played since he's come in, which would be games we've lost where we'd reasonably expect to win? Forest maybe, but they were in reasonable form at the time. That's about it. He's not going to all of a sudden turn us into a top of the table team. Results probably wouldn't have been too dissimilar during that run with Kelly in the team.

Biamou. The one trustworthy forward this season who hasn't hid or sulked and has been solely focused on his team. If you think he is bad, compare him to Baka.

I’m not trying to suggest he’s a bad player, but we’ve looked a lot more defensively fragile with him filling in for Kelly as opposed to previously. Then Kelly comes back in and we turn in that Brentford performance...I dunno. I can see he’s a decent player but it feels like he’s not the type of player we need to progress. I expected him to be a higher quality Kelly and I don’t feel he is.

This is it. It’s obvious the team has to have a forward better than what we have and someone with pace as priorities - its spending on fixing a drive when it’s your fence that’s lying on the floor

Hamer for me, closely followed by O'Hare. Hamer hasn't been as good recently but overall his contribution has been greater. McCallum third for me. Dabo would have been ahead of him if he had not had the injuries.

It depends on what you want them to do

Completely understand. I suppose the other aspect that robins often talks about is you take decisions on what’s on offer when it’s on offer. I think he saw james was available and grabbed the chance to improve that part of the team/squad and the availability of a striker of attacking mid just didn’t happen

O Hare is like the Duracell rabbit - just keeps going - he will be a big star in the Prem as his game matures - I wish him every bit of luck - England need players with this sort if attitude

Hamer (even with his recent quiet spell) - impacts more games than O'Hare does from my point of view

O'hare and Kelly close 2nd/3rd

Fadz 4th

I went for Kelly because he seems to have had the biggest difference overall on results. We've missed him when he's been out.

Bit harsh on O'Hare who deserves recognition so I'll give him young player of the season
Entirely my reasoning too. I thought we'd move on from needing him early in the season. Couldn't have been more wrong. He's as important as ever.

Well O’hare has to win this for me however, I’ve recently been informed that Who Scored is how every player should be judged.

On that basis, the winner is Sam Mccallum with Matty James in second and Dom Hyam in third.

What do us fans know hey?

You can’t read numbers either 🤣🤣 Ask your mummy or daddy to help you babe x

Well don’t keep us in suspense who is player of the year? Also who should we be signing I think you should inform Robins of this remarkable website?

Player of the year is O’Hare according to my knowledge 👍🏻 I am in close contact with Robins and am also part of the scouting team for next year. We need a water boy if you are interested?

I'm genuinely worried that max biamou will win it going off the fact he won the striker of the year vote on twitter comfortably after 240 plus votes .

The correct answer is ofcourse O Hare

I think we have looked a proper Championship side since Matty James joined. He is a class act and has been crucial to our fight out of the relegation zone during the final run-in. I know James hasn't played a full season, but most the team have missed plenty of games through injury and no-one is leaving them out of the reckoning purely on that. My head tells me Osti or COH, but I think the influence of Matty James has been under-appreciated.

He’s been great in open play on and off the ball. Next season, he needs to be scoring more goals if he is to take his game to the next level!

My POTY was Hamer up until around Feb, but his form dropped and COH stepped up massively.

He will get such a good reception at the Ricoh... Fans will appreciate all the hard work every week
But that will only take you so far-the finishing has to improve. I think a year under his belt in the Championship will have stood him in good stead and the goal tally will improve next year.

Agree with this

O'Hare will get it, but I can't help be disappointed with him only getting 2 goals in 47 games this season. .

On balance he probably deserves POTS, but we will need more goals from him next season if we are to progress.

I do agree, but I just have a feeling he will turn in a much higher goal tally next season. Let’s face it, if he starts to stick away the chances he gets we could be looking at another 10 goals and then he’d be worth a small fortune!

For me there isn’t one outstanding player there are two or three candidates but I look to Callum O’Hare played 47 games and is as competitive at the end of a game as he was at the beginning. Should definitely bag more goals though hopefully that will come.
