But the point is a good one. If Sterling reports back favourably about his time here and Chelsea see progression in him, then with AV's connections there we stand a good chance of getting another one of their 60 loanees next season!
I can't see any way Chelsea wouldn't be happy with the progress he's made. He quite clearly has developed. Bristol away was a watershed moment for him, he was very poor, (as were the whole team), but he really improved after that.
Yes, his performance level has dropped off in recent months but it's clear to see that playing week in week out in a competitive league has drained him physically. He'll be stronger next year.
