Biamou motm

Defence pretty solid, kept their big striker quiet.

Wilson - 5 Very little to do, but after conceding two penalties in three games, you’d think it’s time to let Camp earn his wages

McCallum - 7
Hyam - 7
McFadzean - 7
Ostigard - 7 Looking a lot more comfortable in this system now
Dabo - 8 No coincidence that our form has improved just as he gets back to his 2019 self

Kelly - 7
Hamer - 8 MOTM The most talented player we’ve had in years
O’Hare - 7 Gradually growing into this division

Walker - 8 His movement is phenomenal. Has a lot more to his game than Godden.
Biamou - 7 Played like a man possessed. Obvious limitations, but how do you leave him out at this point? Having the ability to go long in his direction has stopped us leaking goals.

Baka - 5 Didn’t really do what you needed a sub striker to do, but whatever. How come only one sub btw?

Only complaint should have made subs with midweek in mind but I guess he knows their fitness better than I do

Only caught the second half. Couldn’t pick out a player who didn’t have a good game. Dabo and Biamou looking class at times.

So happy with that performance. Best defence / attack balance of the season.

Wilson 6 (not as good with his handling today but still came out to claim high ball soon after)
Dabo 8 (very strong defensively and some great skill which lead to Walker chance second half)
McCallum 9 (what an improvement on last match. Didn't give opponent a sniff by getting close and good in the air)
Ostigard 9 (no nonsense defending and brilliant in the air including his goal)
McFadzean 9 (great defending and marshalling)
Hyam 9 (makes it look so effortless)
Kelly 8 (distribution wasn't great at times but some great defensive work including 2 essential blocks in penalty area. Lovely cross with outside of right foot for Biamou chance)
Hamer 8 (worked tirelessly. Some poor passes but equally a couple of class ones. Great ball for Ostigard goal)
O'Hare 8 (another 100% work rate performance. Won lots of free-kicks for us and unlucky not to score before Walker goal)
Walker 8 (won fair share of headers. Lovely touch for Biamou goal. Calm finish for his. Should have had a hat-trick)
Biamou 9 (motm. Caused them problems all game. Linked really well with Walker including the assist and creating another good chance. Took his goal really well)

Bakayoka 6 (put himself self about for cameo but a couple of needless free-kicks took the pressure off them)

Agree with the consensus.

Biamou takes the headlines but every single player had a good individual game. So happy :)

Wilson - 7 - some good claims. Bit nervy at the beginning and got bailed out of that fumble. We all know if that penalty incident happened at the other end, the ref wouldn't have given it.

Dabo - 8 - I don't think he started the game well, but he ended the game brilliantly.

Ostigard - 8 - loves headering things. Probably goes home and headers the wall when we lose.

McFadz - 7 - little bit shakier today but still did well.

Hyam - 8 - always decent. Class bit of control under pressure from one of their players, he can play football.

Sam - 9 - Grafted so hard. Threw himself into everything and some great deliveries.

Kels - 9 - Knows what to do and when to do it. Makes the right decision all the time. That outside of the boot cross was pretty impressive too.

Hamer - 8 - not his usual game today and didn't get enough chances on the ball, but his deliveries were good from set pieces today and he did lots of very good little fouls. He's very likeable and has no fear.

O Hare - 8 - Ref didn't give him much, especially second half when he decided Rotherham should be allowed back into the game to make it fair. Still bought a decent amount of fouls and his closing down is incessant.

Walker - 8 - Very smart player. Should have had a hatrick really, marked down on his two big chances missed but still excellent.

Biamou - 9 (MOTM). Only lost a point because he got tired second half. So strong, a real athlete. Constantly proves everyone wrong.

Baka - 6 - some important running, didn't really get enough time on the pitch.

Robins - 9 - got it right.

Ref - 4. Fine for the first hour, then got bored and wanted to spice the game up.

Rotherham - 5 - never looked like scoring really. Held the ball well and tried to put us under pressure but struggled creatively so always ended up lumping it towards the box.

Without opening old wounds from midweek it was great to have 11 players battling today Kelly was immense as was Max, O'hare put in a good shift as did Hyam and McCallum great all round performance just a pity to concede near the end ...on to Tuesday

Wilson 6 Couple of fumbles early on that he got away with but wasn’t really tested.

Dabs 8 Getting more fitter and somewhere nearing his best again.

McCallum 8 Much better display than against Derby.

McFadz 8 His type of game where he will be the general/rally the troops and head everything away against lumps playing upfront such as today.

Hyam 8 Calm/assured/composed.

Ostigard 8 A wall alongside the other 2 and finally got his goal, albeit a slight deflection.

Hamer 7 We finally have someone who can take a set piece! Conned them all with the ball in for Ostigards goal.

Kelly 9 An immense display and real captains performance. One minute he’s mopping up at the back and next he’s bending a cross in with the outside of his right foot. His experience today was there for all to see-what we have been missing until lately, coincides with him being back in the team.

O’Hare 7 Has been unlucky for me this season and clearly needs a goal-but despite this he never hides and battles away which was more than evident today.

Walker 8 Got a goal and a great assist. Looked much more comfortable with somebody alongside/next to him.

Biamou 9 MOM. Now I’m not his biggest fan but he was a colossus today. Maybe the goal against Norwich has gave him the confidence to push on now-needs to keep it up now and has put the ball back in Robins court who can’t drop him based on that performance.

Baka 5 Ran about a bit for 10 minutes or so.

Robins 9 Got it spot on today-think he knows a bit more than me and my colleagues on a football forum.........

It was a brilliant team performance. But Max and Tyler scared the living daylights out of Rotherham’s defence. 10s to the hit men.

Wilson 6 dropped a couple of things and gave away a pen. I think he keeps the shirt for next game tho as camp must be rusty
Dabo 7 fairly quiet game by his standards but does like fitter now
Ostigard 8
Mcfadzean 8 thought he took a risk with a shoulder charge in box first half otherwise solid
Hyam 8 normal solid self
McCallum 8 great first half
Kelly 9 immense
Hamer 8 class
Ohare 8 unlucky with the save onto post for 2nd goal, must have been fouled 10 times
Walker 8 should have bagged 2
Biamou 9 best ever game for us, needs jump more though when going for headers
