Its convenient to ignore how good he is when so many had written him off. The forum wasn't as bad as the Facebook group for that obviously, but there are still a good few with egg of their faces.Baffled at the lack of mentions of Sheaf here. He was our best player by a country mile (especially in the first half). He is criminally underrated.

I really like him and Hamer in the middle. Anyone who thinks Kelly should be in over Sheaf just sees what they want to see rather than watching whats in front of them. His tackling has come on a ridiculous amount this season, and impresses me more than some of what he does on the ball. Times challenges spot on and gets us out of some big holes.
Great for Sheaf but also good to see Hamer and Allen in there. Kelly? What a graphic this is…
Probably not played the >600 minutes yet?Great for Sheaf but also good to see Hamer and Allen in there. Kelly?

Its almost as if players with potential can improve given a prolonged run in the team.
On the same note it would be nice if Walker (who has been good when starting/getting a run) could be afforded some time rather than being written off every time he comes on for 15-20 minutes and doesn’t notch.
Also applies to a front two of Godden and Walker. If it were to be a genuine tactic, it really needs 5/6 games in a row before you can honestly say it doesn’t work.
The demand from the vocal few for “instant success”
If we do we mustn’t change it like qpr and SheffieldCan understand the tiredness as pressing against quality players which Sheffield's are ,think you work that much harder just to maintain level of performance.i think putting godden for gyo in the same role and replacing Kelly for sheaf then keeping the box midfield would have made an easier last quarter.
Think we might go with it again v bouremouth.
If we revert to two forwards they can't be Godden and Walker. Both good strikers but neither hold the ball up well enough so we keep losing possession. Gyokeres has to stay on with one of them. Or Waghorn. If we do we mustn’t change it like qpr and Sheffield
No they called us worse than averageThought it was a needed boring performance on the road vs a club that has far more spending power
their fans got it right we are average and we do lack quality but we are well drilled and play as a team
gyo is carrying an injury clearly, bringing godden and Walker on nearly had the qpr effect again
ohare again frustrated me with his lack of quality but fair play for his effort
He was playing for the other team. Basham.

Yeah I’m guilty of that with Tyler Walker. I do appreciate it. It’s not the norm for a super sub to have an impactSome of our fans don't seem to appreciate how difficult it can be coming on as a sub for 10 - 15 minutes or even 20 minutes.
Picking up the pace of the game and getting involved can be difficult - let alone actually influencing the game.
Agree stay with plan to the end also they are on a dodgy run themselves. If we do we mustn’t change it like qpr and Sheffield
Could Waghorn play the lone striker role and bring vik for the last 30 when the defenders are tiring if he is still carrying a knock?
