Generally good and by a mile the better team.
Shipley was carried all game. At least O'Hare made the keeper pull off two good saves. Shipley couldn't hit a barn door if you offered him 40 grand a week.
Sheaf outstand first half, quieter second.
Bidwell looks a bit of a downgrade.
Referee has robbed us for the second time this season.
Fell for everything Middlesbrough did. Baffling decisions all game.

Moore - 7.5 - a couple of brilliant saves particularly from the free kick
JCS - 6.5- Some good challenges and passes
Mcfadzean- 5.5 - a little bit sloppy (his miskick nearly led to a goal) but mostly alright
Hyam- 6 - average
Bidwell - 5.5 - slightly disappointing performance - didn’t take on his man and cross it enough imo
Eccles - MOTM - 7.5 - did really well. His pass to allen 1st half particularly good
Sheaf- 7- decent allround again
Shipley- 5.5- couldn’t quite replicate his last couple of games
Allen-7.5- One of our better players - shouldn’t have been subbed
O’Hare- 6- should’ve scored his first half chance - average otherwise
Gyokeres - 7.5- did very well - particuarly holding up the ball and laying it off
Subs :
Waghorn - 5- did pretty much nothing other than giving away sloppy free kicks
Hamer-4- very poor. Gave the ball away and Gave silly free kicks away too
Maatsen - n/a

Was everywhere today the Middlesborough commentators loved him, said he did everything but score and that all our attacks went through him I would give him MOTM.

Outplayed Qpr ...missed chances same today its chances missed that are costing us don't know what the answer is unless we bring someone else in that hits the ground running but even though we have lofty opinions of being promoted this season we are not yet at the stage to play in the prem we would get slaughtered... look at Norwich and last season they were infinitely better than us

I think we were by far the better team today,,,, Gork, great game on his own most of time, oh dear Bidwell only good at holding and rugby tackles. the rest did ok, dont play bidwell again until he can run ive seen faster players at 9 years old

We will get plenty of time tnsee Bidwell run we gave him a near 4 year contract although we are meant to be skint

Sheaf and Vik were superb. Allen did well. We were largely the better team but it feels like we never take three points in the fairly tight games. Never really felt like we’d equalise after they scored. While I thought Eccles deputised well in an unfamiliar position well, it was painstakingly obvious we lacked a full back (on either side) who would take a man on or put a convincing ball in. Bidwell, fairly solid but alarmingly unspectacular so far. It’s very early and I expect him to grow into the role but surprised just how ineffective he’s been going forward so far.
