Yeah, sevens and eights all round for me. Latibeaudiere showed more versatility, good sort of game for Palmer to do some stuff and I also thought Eccles was good.

Difficult game to judge, the gulf in class was far today was huge. Everyone played well, but some worthy mentions.

Sheaf ran the game, and played some absolute naughty passes.

Palmer was brilliant, scored a brilliant goal, won a pen - the only negative was he was at fault for their first goal

O'Hare, just so good in tight spaces, he looks stronger and so clever on the ball. I wish he would stop walking like a gangster though, he looked injured when he came to clap the crowd.

Assured, composed & professional, mostly. Was very pleased to see a strong line up with an obvious gulf in class showed. Thought all who played a part did their jobs well; Tavares ring rustiness to be expected.
I thought 7’s and 8’s throughout. Sheaf over Palmer, just, as MoM for me, with notable mentions for Lati, Eccles, COH and also Simms, who I think is improving step by step.

Cameron brannagan was terrible which was surprising considering how many cov fans seem to want us to sign him over the years

Wilson 6 is it harsh to want him to do better with the goals
Bidwell 7 another
Binks 7
Lati 7.5
MvE 6 can see why he came off
Sheaf 8.5
Eccles 8
Palmer 9 too easy for him
O’hare 8
Sakamoto 6.5
Simms 7 loved the gyokeres esque assist and getting chances but needed to take one

Thomas 7
Dasilva 7
Tavares 4 has he won a competition
Godden 8 brilliant finishes although it doesn't change my mind on him in the league
Allen 6

Allen still gave the ball away quite a bit warranted he did well for the goals, but outside of that he didn’t really do well, Wilson should have done better for the goals so simple 5 (base rating)

Sheaf was second IMO. Palmer was the man although the first goal conceded was his error. I looked at the footage and I think a weak ref would have given a foul on Palmer.

I just don’t blame a midfielder for a goal if they lose the ball in front of the back line TBH. People seem to blame whoever loses possession but the defence should be able to defend with the ball in front of them.

Thought players were pretty equal but I’d just about Palmer mom even though you could point a finger at him for their equaliser, his bustling first half performance caused Oxford all sorts of problems.

Wilson 5, Allen 5? Allen had 2 assists and was only on the pitch 10 minutes.
Wilson was no more than a 5 and a number of posters have said the same thing. The second goal was saveable and generally I was reminded why he makes me nervous!
