Not the best of games to either watch or play in due to the pouring rain and wind.On reflection a draw probably a fair result, felt we dominated possession until they scored, but the second half we gave the ball away a lot and they created a few scoring opportunities.
Burge made a save which even now i can't believe he kept out, if that had been in the World Cup in Russia it would have been replayed over and over again,it was that good. His handling in what were nightmare conditions for a keeper was very good, and apart for 1 dreadful punt in the 1st half his kicking was decent.Indeed it was his quick throw out in the first half which help set up the McNulty chance.
Grimmer was generally solid without having a stand out game.
Haynes made a few decent surges upfield, but like as been said his final ball was often poor, defensively he still looks lightweight, and most of their danger came down his side.
Mcdonald battled hard and was generally solid.
Hyam impressed me, and his goal line clearance was nearly as impressive as Burge wonder save.
Doyle as always worked hard,a mixture of some decent passing and some not so good.
Bayliss looks like having all the attributes to be a top player, always looking to create, and has the ability to play with his head up.I doubt he will be with us for very long.
Vincenti did ok without ever offering much of a threat.
McNulty worked hard but it wasn't one of his better games.
Shipley again ok, nothing more, took a few decent corners, but the weather was never going to make this a game for stand out performances.
JCH carried more of a threat than McNulty, and I think he will be a big help in these next few games.
Reid made an immediate impact on coming on, and he has an undoubted bit of quality, that can create a chance in the final third.
Biamou took his goal really well, maybe this will help him kick on a bit, don't see him being a starter though, but if he can nick a goal or 2 from the bench that will be a bonus.
Ponticelli wasn't really in the game to judge.
