Oooof, Haji 25m?? Sheaf 20m? Palmer 5m? Eccles 8.5m?! Jeeez, not sure about those, maybe half them and you’d be about there
The rest is about right though, you just must really love Haji and Sheaf

So you'd sell Wright & Simms, for 10m, Sheaf 8, MVE 7.5, Saka 5, Kitching 2.5, Torp 2? Brilliant idea that.

I think there's a big difference between what a players perceived value is and what we'd want to get for them if they were to be sold. Those two figures should be the same but invariably will be different.
Taking @PUSB-We_are_going_up's figures above (not picking on you - just the first one I can see whilst typing
), his valuation for MVE is £10m. I'm not sure I'd agree it should be that high but it's definitely the minimum I'd want us to accept as a fee.
As fans, we always want more than a player is likely worth and I think that's why there's some inflated figures on here.

I think so people forget how old Sakamoto is. He was brilliant last winter but doesn’t have much resale value imo.

Hardly. If we sold him for £20m that would only be £2m to them. Its not as if we are to sell him for £100m and we have to pay them £18m

Well more like 2.5m. That's a lot of money to us.
And the original source mentions nothing of it being only on profit. It probably is, but the turkish source doesn't mention it.

I’m all for us having the “if you get promoted you owe us X amount” clause in player’s contracts. We owe them nothing extra atm and if we get promoted something like £2-3 million will be peanuts. If it means we clinch the signature of a major player then I’d happily have that clause in the contract.
