in fairness if you read up on the web about it there were a load of rugby players caught out aswell by it being in a sports supplement ..like they always say ignorance is not an excuse

There is a 22 page reasoned decision on the FA website about his ban. They accept he wasn't using it as a masking agent but they said he was using it as a stand alone ped. It looks quite harsh when you read it but he should of known better.
He will be target tested for the next two years so would be mental to take anything again.

also Racing Drivers, boxers, American Football players - give the lad a chance, he was caught by random drug screening, done, served his ban and now should be 'clean'. he will be under scrutiny for the future - so let him have one

As always with these kind of drugs situations, we don't know the facts, the guys done the time ... if he comes to us, stays clean and plays well fair enough, if he repeats in anyway then he should be banned for life ... no room in professional anything for drugs.
