Was that when he went to middlesbrough?

Didn't we have him (Ravanelli) on trial? I seem to remember him playing in the reserves, but I may just be entirely making this up! But it was when he was ancient; he'd been playing in Scotland.

The Trezeguet thing was entirely for real in that we bid and were very keen. But Monaco knew what they had and were waiting for his name to be a bit bigger and those big-money clubs to come in.
