Right so, after 6 wins out of 6 at home, and piss poor away form. We don't need to beat the bottom side at home?

We should, and I'll be pissed off if we don't, but we don't need to.
Talking about any game at this point against win given the start we've had is the sort of over reaction I've come to expect on here.

O'Hare was excellent for much of the game but looked knackered at the end. Gyok did fine but clearly not at his best.

Problem is, with neither on the pitch you had Sheaf trying to get on the ball & make stuff happen but Preston are all behind the ball in a low block & you need a little bit of that Gyökeres or O'Hare magic. As good as Allen is he doesn't grab the game by the scruff of the neck & make things happen like O'Hare, nobody does.
Yep, I'd say O'Hare was our MoM. What an engine the lad has. The block in the first half was unreal. And when anything looks like happening up front, he's involved.

I wouldn't have started Gyo with the benefit of hindsight. He just didn't look quite right so could probably have done with the extra few days of rest before Saturday.

He would have also have been a better option off the bench to change the game than Waghorne who is a good foil but not what we needed then.

When waggers came in he, MR, everyone said he defends from the front, presses, drives, chases. Too me he looks like he's got too big for that. Looks like a heavyweight coming on. What's going on there?

We lost there the season Jimmy Hill got us promoted I believe. Don't understand how bogey teams exist but they do. Outfought in the second half. Maa terrible miscontrol for their first goal. Our best players Gyo and O'Hare looked as if they were limping when they came out in the second half. Not surprised they were both subbed. Walker was a hairs breadth from controlling Hamers through ball. Our squad is a bit lightweight.

Which works well when defending a lead.

What we need (please don't laugh) is someone like Bright who is a wild card and can make things happen when we need it. Could've done with that tonight. Needs to sort his shit out or we need to bring someone in who can do similar to what he did for us in league one.

It's not a must win 6 pointer game,

It's a game we must win to avoid us being a team in poor form,

I don't get how that is a controversial statement in the slightest.

You might want to sit down, he isn't going to play for us.

He’ll need a flight back over from his excursion

Gyk didn’t look 100% to me, and Robins should of flooded the midfield after the equaliser. He didn’t act and we conceded the 2nd. Allen and Waghorn were never going to rescue the game for us, and his triple change may be wise for Saturday but also felt like accepting defeat. We really need a pacey winger/forward available on the bench. Tavarres and Jodi possibly but they were not named. Disappointing night, We we’re decent first half but couldn’t handle the obvious Preston push 2nd half.
is your username any reference to what your mates are thinking when you start talking up the boozer?

Agree with this. It seems it's not going to be Bright but we need a player like that, alongside O'Hare.

We're too reliant on O'Hare making things happen, the kid has an unbelievable engine

But out paced by several Preston players tonight and kept going to ground looking for fouls when they just weren't there?

You've answered your own question.
It's not 6 pointer, worse case scenario we'll still be top 6, that's the not the outcome of a must win game.
The season we won L1 we didn't sort our away form out until December.
People get wrapped up in the outcome of 1 or 2 games and forget to look the bigger picture.

Though I am a bit pissed off that Robins said he was going to change however play away and its just been more of the same since the international break.

They nullified O'Hare and Gyokeres and we just didn't have an answer.

We were overrun in midfield all night, would have liked to have seen Allen for Gyo to put an extra body in the middle.

Waghorn, who I normally like, was awful when he came on.

We need someone like Bright, who isn’t Bright!
