I’d argue we’re a bigger club than Birmingham.
They welcomed us to their place. Never came across negativity from them. The few idiots they have will not change my mind on the rest of them.
Would anyone like to be seen as the same as our few idiots?
If you work in Birmingham like I did you soon see the villa fans are actually ok the Birmingham fans are awful
But what has that got to do with the supporters? But let's not pretend they didn't get a big, big chunk of money from us to play there. The pubs and catering around the ground benefitted from us being there too
Pretty much this, blues are a horrible bunchActually agree, villa fans are sound, all the blues fans I work with are utter bellends which are massively bitter by living in Villa's shadow.
But what has that got to do with the supporters?
Big city but lots of clubs.Potentially Birmingham City could be massive just look at the size of the city but their history is very much like ours full of false dawns
The supporters never made a penny.Because, like Northampton, the fans were happy to have us there because of the financial gain.
Big city but lots of clubs.
Does all of our support come from just Coventry? It has 2 clubs?
Does all of our support come from just Coventry?
In your biased view it will if you compare it with Birmingham who have to share the catchment area with several sides.
Well done. Yes looking at it strictly Birmingham and Villa are close to the city centre. The rest are in suburbs of Birmingham. I suppose by Grendel rules nobody who lives in Birmingham supports any club closer to them because of invisible boundaries. And all of our support only comes from Coventry. You asked how many clubs are in Birmingham - FFS it’s two!

How many in Manchester ?You asked how many clubs are in Birmingham - FFS it’s two!
How many in Manchester ?
Dudley City or Dudley United? That’s nothing to do with what you said!
I’m sure If you sat in a pub in Dudley and said it’s a suburb of Birmingham it would be well received
I’ve been to DudleyThat’s nothing to do with what you said!

In the same context as Birmingham or Birmingham City Region.Manchester or greater Manchester?
I was always told that technically one of them isn't Birmingham either, but has kind of been absorbed into it as time's gone on. I make no claim as to whether this is true or not, and am certainly not wasting my time wordily arguing it with a bunch of timewasting loonsYou asked how many clubs are in Birmingham - FFS it’s two!
They've never been loud here , wank supporters

Would've been a good while as they did a very slow lap of honourAnnoying today. We usually go up the slope just before the tunnel into Car Park C then walk down the path, up the grass slope and over the bridge as we park at the John Shelton school. They wouldn't let us do that today. I understand there might be trouble, but home fans shouldn't be inconvenienced, they should have kept them in for a while.
We also have a massive catchment area. It wasn't 10% of the population of Coventry at the game today. There are only 2 clubs in Birmingham the city. And that wider catchment area they share with a couple of other clubs is enormous, over 3 million people. Birmingham clubs, Blues particularly, have poor support imo.
Catchment area not nearly as big as Blues, not even close. We also have a massive catchment area. It wasn't 10% of the population of Coventry at the game today.
How many do you think would have turned up today if we were as low as Birmingham and had nothing to play for?
A lot of it is down to how a club is presently doing. We are looking at a playoff place. The ground was rammed. If we were where Birmingham are we would have been lucky to have had 20,000.Catchment area not nearly as big as Blues, not even close.
Don't care particularly, and don't see what today has to with it, as I'm not really commenting about us anyway. I'm talking historically, Blues should be a very big club, but they're not. It's weird really.

Birmingham share their catchment area with other clubs. Ours goes up towards Birmingham and Leicester. We're doing well. We have won a couple of times at Wembley in recent years. Before then our support was very poor. Even in the Prem it wasn't very good. I remember the days in the top flight that over 12,000 was a decent crowd.
A little success makes a massive difference.
Potentially every club has the catchment area of the country and beyond.Does all of our support come from just Coventry?
In your biased view it will if you compare it with Birmingham who have to share the catchment area with several sides.
Does the Leicester catchment area go to the Coventry border? We share a catchment area with Leicester?
France? Germany? Australia?Potentially every club has the catchment area of the country and beyond.
Yes wouldn't surprise me if there are Cov fans in those places.France? Germany? Australia?
