If a phoenix Coventry City club were to start playing at the Ricoh next season would you support them?

The only circumstance in which I could support another club, regardless of where they play, is if the team that won the FA cup in 1987 were officially out of business. I've invested too much money, time and emotion to turn my back, even if I disagree with the current owners to such an extent I've given up my season ticket. Even then, I may start going to watch Burton Albion instead. I don't think I'd ever be as emotionally involved with another club.

I would give this my support immediately, however I doubt it would take of immediately as some people seem still to believe there is still hope of a settlement.. I don't think there is any chance

Phoenix club? I might as well pick a team out of a hat and support them. Bollocks, I say.

They'll do them a deal. Only half a mil a year.

No. there's Cov united, sphinx & copeswood already, why don't ACL approach them

The third option applies for me now. I can't say that'll never change, but I have zero interest in any of the bi-weekly new club proposals.

No, the same as the last how many threads. How could a non league team afford to play at the ricoh?

Amazing how people can just run along and support a new team, there are already lots of non league teams in Coventry.

Pretty much agree with this - personally while this situation drags on I've mostly lost interest in the current team both home and away, so would be tempted to watch a new cov team but only if it had the support of enough CCFC fans to have some kind of legitimacy as an alternative (I think getting half the fanbase would be enough, and could be possible if this drags on say another year, but realistically isn't at the moment).

I have to say, less is more, and the constant bludgeoning round the head every time there's some 'news' smacks of massive overreaction and fickleness.

i always said never, but just lately i feel i would just to stick 2 fingers up to sh1tsu.

it's to soon yet anyway. if they got the go ahead to become NEC sky blues or wherever the latest town they are interested in buying land. until then, i'm fighting for the club.

If we are not back for next season they have my full support as I'm tired and fed up playing in Northampton having to catch a coach to home games is a joke let's have the boys home b4 Christmas hopefully but definitely b4 next season !!!!!!!! #PUSB:sleep::(

Voted for Option 3, but if doing something radical would fast forward the current situation, I would consider an alternative. Would never really support anybody else, but would watch another team at the Ricoh if it helped get the Sky Blues back in Cov, due to SISU doing one etc. Wish I had a crystal ball to glance forward 3-5 years (or maybe not?)

What are the options? Assume the no's are winning by some margin?

You could go to council meetings and cheer them on from the public gallery.

you could always follow NTFC. i'm sure a read one of your post where you said its a great ground and has a great atmosphere even when 1/4 full. you even know how to get there.

Apparently not. I think there's a button you can press in the top right on an iPad but I'm not on one nor can I be arsed to find it right now tbh.
