The bigger picture could always, after all, see fault in more places than SISU, and could always see the club as more than SISU... the bigger picture could see those who go to Sixfields end up as the heroes and saviours.
The bigger picture would stop wasting time on small-minded and petty things like picking people up on their leisure choices, and instead refashion the debate so that those leisure choices didn't actually matter. There are plenty of other avenues to take, after all...
Repeat ad infinitum
Somebody going to Sixfields but disillusioned with the situation is, dare I say it, the default position. Portraying a bunch of happy clappy Fisherphiles is frankly insulting, as insulting as it would be to suggest we have a bunch of fickle fans incapable of thinking for themselves, who brought this on themselves by welcoming SISU into the club and who are now overcompensating, turning this on others to assuage their own guilt.
