Only 400 sold as it stands very disappointing considering we took 3k plus last year, still some time to sell more but cant see much more than a 1000 going

Transport

After ringing for two days I finally got through to the ticket office to try get my Port Vale ticket and coach travel. Unfortunately the coaches have now sold out. The train is a bit too expensive so it looks unlikely I can make it.....unless there is an unofficial coach anyone can recommend?

Train from Nuneaton ( cheapest option due to going East) - 14 pound return - purchase two singles. - If travelling from cov a return from Cov to Nuneaton is around 4.80 - train for under 19 quid and only 1 hour.

Although Burslem is bit out of stoke, so a taxi approx 8 quid is required ok with a few of you.

My first away game this season and first visit to Vale park. Should have gone to the corresponding fixture last season, had match and coach tickets in hand when lo and behold - the latest addition to the family appears, the day before and ten weeks prem.
Previously had a great track record in going to the footer ahead of family 'gatherings', but this one had me beat.

Cheers wingy. Yes, he's doing great. Truth be known he breezed it, the little fighter! The real battle is now and the foreseeable future as we are living in Sutton Coldfield, and you know who, are the club who dominate support around here. Took him to his first game a couple of months back, versus Bristol City. The family tradition of first City game = defeat, continues.

If you go out of Stoke station to The Terrace Pub on the Leek Road about five minute walk they usually put buses on direct to the ground from there think it costs about 4 quid return.

Next to the ground is an official car park, £4 I think

There is street parking available in the surrounding area but it might be a bit of a walk

Don't smile on the bus though, as if they spot that you've got more than 3 teeth, they'll know you're not a local. On the plus side, if you do smile, it takes them about thirty seconds to count to more than 3, so you'll have plenty of time to cover your mistake!
