Really? Better than MK? Better than Rotherham?Best ground in League 1 without doubt.
One of the best in the country really. In the town. Plenty pubs. Next to the station. Compact.
Even the old fashioned away end was fine. Better facilities than some new stadia.

True, their toilets really let them down though, in a really bad state.

Am I still pissed or does this not make sense! This the issue with cities away ticketing g sales. Too many Nigels any up with tickets.
'Some'.
Definitely not MK or Rotherham, but not much worse than the smaller flat pack type. Took a lot less time to get a drink before the game than most stadia.
Thought Rotherham was awful tbh and MK isn't anything to write home about, concourse pretty dingy.

Sorry, I'll repeat myself for the peanut gallery. The problem with coventry city and how they sell the tickets to away games is too many folk who in another life would be train spotters get tickets. It comes to something when you have a spend more time concentrating and rereading your post than I normally do with a cc4l one.
I wasn’t aware that the name “Nigel” was as popular amongst cov fans than “Jordan” is amongst the players
Didn't we smash them up?True, their toilets really let them down though, in a really bad state.
Can't see it myself but would a great location similar to Newcastle and Millennium Stadium as in Heart of the City. You might know this Shmmeee but who owns land like Central Six, Alvis Retail Park and Coventry Business Park where Go Outdoors located, all good locations for a stadium.I did a cut out of the Shrewsbury ground and overlaid it on Ikea and I reckon it’d fit.
Good transport though? I shudder to think what the ring road would be like. You’d need some solid Park and Rides around the edges of the city and a concerted effort to get people to go by train/bus I reckon. Not at all insurmountable though. You’d have to build parking underneath it I reckon, which I’d guess would mean a bowl. Ready made fans village in the SkyDome as well.

Bulldoze the Houses at Highfield rd and start againI did ask where in Cov is there a suitable location for a similar sized ground. ? According to recent reports six have been identified, any ideas ?
Could the land by Meggit Aircraft Breaking systems be used (in between Burnaby Rd and Swallow Rd)? Meggit could provide the car parking facilityI did ask where in Cov is there a suitable location for a similar sized ground. ? According to recent reports six have been identified, any ideas ?
The cov local plan earmarks such sites for housing, with no reference at all to the necessary increase in local public services. Planning in this country is patheticCould the land by Meggit Aircraft Breaking systems be used (in between Burnaby Rd and Swallow Rd)? Meggit could provide the car parking facility
Cant beat the old style ground for atmosphere but going back to your question it should say where could we build a new stadium without the help of Coventry Council
