Those weak links defensively are all the goalkeepers all the fullbacks and all bar maybe one CB. MvE is great going forwards but this season at least he’s a liability at the back.

MVE is in poor form but him and Thomas can comfortably make up a top back 4 at this level imo. The other side however...

MvE could have done better with I think the first. Thomas fmnotndirevtly to blame for either goal but has been poor generally. Silly rash fouls, giving the ball away in very dangerous areas. He gets a pass cos he’s slightly better than the others defensively but he’s not good enough other than as a young developing player in a better defence.

Also mate , you talk about thomas but sheaf I've counted 4 times passed to their player in midfield ? These are all contributing factors

The point is, he's so shot that Portsmouth now have the confidence to shoot from any distance or angle.
Collins has been singled out as a poor keeper, just watch where the put the next corner, right under the crossbar is my guess as Collins can't deal with it.
