Meanwhile, when Wright comes back, are the best two players competing for the same spot? Lampard earns his money if he figures out how to keep Haji ticking while EMC continues to progress. Otherwise, Da Silva and Collins did not look good, did they? Don't understand what Dovin did wrong or why Da Silva makes the starting XI. We've seen him play well, but was that as a substitute? O'Hare didn't want to stay. He had the chance to and he decided not to. He wanted to go to Burnley in the summer of 2022 and would've done if he hadn't got injured.

I didn’t see the game as I’m working but based on what I’ve read here, and what I’ve seen so far this season, I’d genuinely consider playing some of the youth team on Boxing Day.. even if it’s just a show of bollocks towards these players.

I don’t recall a team so passive and so defensively diabolical since the Russel Slade era. Collins should never play for the club again, Dasilva needs either moving on or moving up to the wing as defensively he’s a complete catastrophe and I wouldn’t play a single one of those “CB” ‘s again.

I’d give Kitching a run out and see how he fairs but as for the rest of them surely not even the likes of Callum Perry from the youth team could be as bad. It’s baffling.
