Everyone around us lost too, still 3pts clear roll on Saturday
Yup.Everyone around us lost too, still 3pts clear roll on Saturday
If Middlesbrough beat Norwich & we lose at Luton we need to beat Middlesbrough by 4 clear goals to finish above themIf Boro would have won we would have needed a point at Luton ( unlikely) to ensure taking it to last game of season. Now we just need to beat Boro. Strange day
What???If Middlesbrough beat Norwich & we lose at Luton we need to beat Middlesbrough by 4 clear goals to finish above them
Er no , a win is enoughIf Middlesbrough beat Norwich & we lose at Luton we need to beat Middlesbrough by 4 clear goals to finish above them
How? Does goal difference not come into it & it's on head to head?!Er no , a win is enough
Fucking hell I've had a mare there, course we only need to win as we will both be on 66 points 🫣How? Does goal difference not come into it & it's on head to head?!
Hope Thomas is backLuton will destroy us on Saturday if we have Collins in goal.
Need Thomas back in to help deal with the balls in.
He's hoping to be back for the Boro game, Saturday too soon.Hope Thomas is back
Someone said the same thing yesterday. How? Does goal difference not come into it & it's on head to head?!

Norwich are on the beach and have been dross the past few weeksWhat’s the likelihood of Boro losing at home to Norwich? I’d say extremely slim.
Meaning the Luton game is now pretty much meaningless
Think we're going to need Simms for his size, when defending corners. He can also win headers from attacking set pieces (our goal v Plymouth). Agree with Allen - the Luton game will be too physical. Bidwell on a narrower pitch, might not be so vulnerable, but will likely be JDS. Picking up some sort of a result will be massive. Weirdly, a draw will probably be just as valuable as a win, as either will likely mean a draw is enough v Boro.Don’t want to see Collins, Allen, Bidwell or Simms in the starting line up next week.
Not quite. You’d rather go into the last game needing a draw rather than a winWhat’s the likelihood of Boro losing at home to Norwich? I’d say extremely slim.

Boro would have to go for broke which should play into our hands. That and the psychological aspect of going into the game 6th versus 7th.Good point. However if we’re in that situation my concern is that we’ll try and play for the draw.
If we do that we’ll lose
Yep, we didn't get back until nearly ten last night, and my lad and I were reflecting on this on the way back. Would rather be sixth three points ahead than in Middlesborough's position.Everyone around us lost too, still 3pts clear roll on Saturday
They're the big losers from last night for sure. They had the opportunity to leapfrog into the playoffs and threw it away.Yep, we didn't get back until nearly ten last night, and my lad and I were reflecting on this on the way back. I did the same, brain got scrambled by over looking at the fixtures and league tableFucking hell I've had a mare there, course we only need to win as we will both be on 66 points 🫣![]()
Theres some crazy results this time of year, it may well go to the last second winner against Middlesbrough......or it may notNorwich are on the beach and have been dross the past few weeks
Then again, I would have said the same of Sheff Weds yesterday
