Some counter arguments to the downbeat tone of the ‘Negatives’ thread

• We now have an academy that’s producing good young players.
• These young players are not having their way to the 1st team blocked by ‘dross’ brought in on loan or on a free
• The team have a settled pattern, which over time will lead to a greater consistency of performance
• The team spirit is good and the young players are learning fast from the games they’ve conceded late goals in
• At least the team are playing reasonably attractive football, albeit the end product needs to improve
• The club are making good progress towards complying with the new financial fair play rules – 90% of the clubs in the Championship can’t say that
• And finally, our worst start to a Championship season came in 2005/06 when we were only on 13pts after 15 games – we went on to finish 8th !

You may be right, but that doesn't mean that we won't survive it and become a stronger team for it.
