To stop all the gloom and doom, I think if we look at today as the whole package it could have been so much worse.

Wigan drew

Burton lost

Sheff Utd drew

Walsall drew

Peterborough lost

Could have been so, so much worse.

Yep, results went for us today, it was a let off.

Hope to see positive changes in the team next week, hopefully with a few new faces mid-week.

Shouldn't have to rely on other results though. Today was a bad result.

We're not. Just saying we should be thanking our luck it wasn't so much worse than it is.

On the other side of the coin, had we won with all those other results :(

At positivity?

Look you numpties, today was crap, get that, but can you just allow one single crumb of positivity to help make me feel better?

I am asking nicely.

;)

The bad run ends with January. It's done it is over.

Not so much the January sales, but more January knocked the wind out of our sails.

By February we will have a speed boat.

Good idea. See if they play better with a few grams of speed in them.

No consolation that many of our rivals failed to win? How do you make that one out?

All those teams not winning has to be a positive surely? Bit daft to suggest otherwise.

Exactly, people need to get a bit of perspective.

They don't though on the back of a defeat. It is ALL gloom and doom and with blinkers on unfortunately.

Us still only being 6 points behind 1st place after a dreadful defeat has to be a crumb of comfort surely!

Otis....Makes it worse! What a missed opportunity.

But we lost and at 2-0 at half-time we pretty much knew we were going to lose.

Shrewsbury scored their winner against Burton in the 90th minute. They scored their equiliser in the 52nd minute. That means at half time we were 2-0 down and Burton were 1-0 up. Surely there is some positivity in the fact that though we did in fact lose Burton went on to lose too!

Walsall were winning 1-0 and Blackpool's equiliser came in the 90th minute. Surely there is some positivity in the fact that Walsall threw away 2 points in the final minute!

Sheff Utd were winning 1-0 Swindon scored in the 79th minute and therefore Sheff United threw away 2 points too.

At half time we were 2-0 down and the game was all but lost and these other teams were all winning. They all threw points away. I say again, surely there is some degree of positivity to be found in that!

It simply cannot be a negative that they all threw away points can it? Stop looking at pre-game and start looking at the point we were already defeated. It ended up so much better than it could have done had all these teams won. Therefore, although small, there is a degree of positivity to come out of all this.

I'll piss you off even more then. We have only got 1 point in the last 3 games. If we had won them we would be top of the table and dreaming of promotion.

Yes but we never seem to take advantage when we have the chance!

Oh, is there? Didn't know that. Yep, sad as it sounds, I will be rooting for everyone else against our rivals.

Peterborough v Burton

Fleetwood v Walsall.

Didn't think I would ever be cheering for Pressley again.

Yes, the half time scores looked horrendous, and even though Wigan were drawing I was sure they had more than enough quality to beat Crewe
