I was there a couple of weeks ago as a friend of a friend lives there (Cov lad).

Around by the station and red light distract is like a scene from a Zombie movie with crack heads left right and centre but the rest of the city is lovely.

All the bars around Rittergasse make for a great night out!!

Absolutely correct. It's the worst airport in the UK given its potential reach. Holiday to the canaries? No problem. Flying somewhere useful? Jog on. As you say, expensive compared to other UK airports, and the amount of airlines they have lost in the last ten years is astonishing. We've got a few on here that are part of this mindset actually.

It’s £90 more from brum but stansted is a c**t to get to. Im paying the extra to save the drive and parking. ended spending the same in the end flying from stansted

it’s £98 to travel from Stanstead to Cologne with a 2 hour coach at the other end for only £25 return. Way cheaper from Birmingham and great flight times

It may be cheaper doing it that way but 2hr car to stansted and back will be £50 fuel. Parking another £50 there. not to mention coach journey in germany then weekend on the beer and driving back to cov from stansted. rather pay the extra on my doorstep and fly direct for the sake of £90

5 of us sharing a car so £10 each for fuel. Same for parking. Flights almost £300 less per person. No brainer for us. Flights times mean you get Friday evening, all of Saturday and most of Sunday and only need to take a day off work

Serious question, why if planes are causing chemtrails and you're against it, why are you using them? Isnt that like Turkeys voting for Christmas?

It was really good thanks, great way to get over the disappointment of Wembley. And a lot of people think they know but it surprises them when i actually tell them

you do know commercial planes are different to private run planes with no passengers? did I say every plane leaves trails? No.

Not sure if Birmingham has always been that bad, or it's dependant on where you're travelling to? Last few holidays I've been on, I've been pretty much forced to go down to London or even heaven forbid, Luton

Stansted is a bitch to get to. Always bad traffic. 2.5/3 hrs every time I’ve flown from there.
