Dreadful simulation from Fernandes. Leeds player didn't even touch him and he goes down holding his shin.

For all the hype around the manager, doesn't actually seem very good.
I know they've got a lot of injuries but they've been there since the whole of the Jan transfer window so should've covered them off

Think their manager was good when they came up as playing end to end like a basketball game but he's been found out and seems reluctant to change tactics

Abramovich has temporarily handed ownership of Chelsea over to the Chelsea Charitable Trust.

Edit: some reports are saying temporarily, others are saying permanently so will have to wait and see.
During my nearly 20-year ownership of Chelsea FC, I have always viewed my role as a custodian of the Club, whose job it is ensuring that we are as successful as we can be today, as well as build for the future, while also playing a positive role in our communities. I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. I remain committed to these values. That is why I am today giving trustees of Chelsea’s charitable Foundation the stewardship and care of Chelsea FC.

I believe that currently they are in the best position to look after the interests of the Club, players, staff, and fans.

I don't get it, he moved his arm to the ball and its not like it bounced onto his arm from another part of his body, it was only his arm that played the ball.
Exactly, he moved his arm towards the ball so it has to be a handball

I don't get why the ref shows a yellow card to Ashley Cole asking him about the hand ball? It was a hand ball

It is by the letter if the law, but I really think it shouldn't be.

I prefer the accidental application of the rules. His arm wasn't in an unnatural position.

As it stands, it should have been though

Oh, I have changed my mind. I only saw it in slo-mo earlier. When you see it in real time, it's a clear cut penalty isn't it.

I have no idea why VAR didn't award that. 🤷

Martin Tyler extra annoying today.

Not sure how the ref gave that free kick to Man Utd, looked a pen.

Good finish. Opens up a chance for himself and shoots. I think we should be looking at premier league players you know.

Will go down as one of their worst transfers in history surely

Was never worth quarter that at the time

From what I've seen, and I don't know where he is, but I actually think Bailley is a better defender than McGuire. He's not a very good footballer but he seems to sniff out danger, something none of their current crop of defenders seem to do.

I altered my post as there are 2 crazy transfers on show today
