My thoughts on Southgate are well documented. (They aren't positive.)It's probably more because of than despite of. They've signed an entire 25 man squad that's never met before.
As I write that Maddison scores another cracker. How on Earth Southgate continues to ignore him I've no idea

On your second point, it's definitely a massive klaxon to his credibility that Maddison isn't being included.
