They said they were checking a foul but there was no foul but offside.

It came off a Brighton player though
It wasn't a deliberate action which is the law now

It can hit a defender but that doesn't matter unless he is making an effort to play the ball

I dunno, if your arm is up by your head and the contact plays a big part in the goal I'd be annoyed to concede it tbh.

Is it not a slightly different rule for attackers anyway, in that any contact with the arm rules it out? I know they went that way a couple of years ago, but I have no idea what they're going with these days!

Good point. Shit rule btw.

Have Everton sent Holgate to Sheffield United to help keep them down, he is not a good footballer but that assault was ridiculous.

The blades look a terrible team exactly how I expected Luton to look.

Sheffield Utd are that confident of staying up without winning today they are even scoring goals for Brighton

Those three substitutes wouldn’t scare a league one team.

Hamer looked pretty disinterested

Carry on as they have been and they end on a -64 goal difference. Just 5 short of that record breaking Derby side.

Brighton have now scored as many goals at Brammall Lane in two games as Sheff Utd have in the last 10 combined

They are embarrassing. Wouldn't swap our squad for theirs in a million years.

Davies trying to get himself sent off so he doesn’t have to play the next game, how he has made a career at the top level is beyond me

Has Hamer even done enough for another move do we think, or is he just going to have to stay there and watch us go past him?

Good news for Sheffield Utd is it's Arsenal next. Not like they're scoring for fun or anything....

Probably not.

Always seems to be their bright spark whenever I have seen them, doubt that will be enough tho. They are absolutely turgid at the moment.

I was thinking that. He looks ok-ish in an absolutely rotten team but I'm not sure it's enough. I don't think he's athletic enough for the Prem, players like Sheaf and Torp probably more built for it tbh.

Still think Hamer in our midfield is what we are missing, his enthusiasm, pinging balls across the pitch, dogged tackles, and goals, I know it's not going to happen and players move on but apart from his bank balance not a great footballing move. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move abroad
