Couldn’t happen to a nicer set of ‘fans’
Should have stuck with Moyes after Fergie went, it does make me smile though.
Rinse and repeat every 18 months!!

They'd gone backwards since he was appointed .

Also you'd say that it shows how good a job mourinho did there to have them finish runners up and also Ole too

There is so much wrong with United. They've not really had any sort of style of play since Ferguson left. As a result, all of their signings just seem quite random. They're just a sort of zombie outfit now really, can't see much changing even with a new manager.

Their transfer policy seems driven more by commercial than footballing interests.

Jim White is going to be so pissed - he handed over to Crooksie about 30 mins before the news broke to catch a plane - if he's at the centre of anything he claims he created it

Just watching Match of the Day and West Ham vs Utd. Bet Summerville was happy to be attacking Utd's defenders, rather than proper defenders like Bobby Thomas

Clubs like Man Utd have far to many hangers on in the back ground and then far to many players below the first team who are well paid but contribute little.

It's Amorim they want it seems, could be good.

Ashworth, Wilcox and Berada know what they are doing but it will take time to fix the clown show that went on before

If Amorim goes there he may go back for Gyokeres, and at the very least starting a bidding war for him.

Gyokeres would make Arsenal the finished article IMO.

It’s bizarre they spent even more money on signings for him in the summer, for them to not even see out October with him.

The next full manager has a hell of a task on his hands and probably needs another £500 million in signings to get them where they want to be, as well as ship out a load of deadwood, bad attitude, and injury prone players. They’re light years from even Liverpool and Arsenal in terms of structure, let alone Man City.

Mourinho is one of the best managers ever and he says Man Utd was the hardest job he ever had. Van Gaal called them a brand club, and not a football club. I think the manager isn’t their most pressing issue.

nah, it doesn't need that much investment

what it needs is a more coherent set of tactics, ten hag wasn't signing the players now by the way.

The manager is the issue at the moment as Ashworth etc are proven t be good at their jobs so they fr once have got the right structure in place of the pitch.

Cashed out, but fair play to the bucket shakers. I suppose if someone injected multi millions to a team getting 10k gates, they'd get results eventually
