That's it. The biggest difference to last season and this season, and it was down to Wilson most of the time was pressing the opposition higher up the pitch.

And that's why Wilson was worth the money, he worked 100% for 90 minutes, he chased the ball constantly, he never let the opposition goalkeepers of back four rest with the ball, and that encouraged the whole team to move up the pitch, the opposition would lose the ball and then Moussa/Baker would get the ball and we were on the front foot again.

If we want to get back to last season, the forwards need to learn to chase the ball anywhere in the opposition half, too many times they drop off and give the opposition centre backs time to get comfortable on the ball and look for a good pass.

The lack of pressing and control is because of our poor poor midfield setup.

And it also comes to the demands from Pressley and I must say, I don't think he demands enough from his midfielders in regards to pressing. Too often we are too open straight through the middle, see Crewe's first goal yesterday for example.

The pressing was what made us so formidable for periods last year, and is why we got off to such quick, rampant starts. It's sickening to see how much we have regressed.

I thibk we are pressing at the wrong times. I noticed several times where Fleck would sprint up to press leaving a huge hole behind him which kept getting exploited as he never managed to tackle them. Same with a few others.

If you are looking for non stop chasing and pressing, then we have the answer in our squad.

Two words.

We play the Coventry way...the pressing game.I will take my suits up to Ryton and see if they can press them.Cuz they couldn't press bottom club,Crewe so maybe something a little easier will help build confidence.
Over 1000 fans, including me with "mug" stamped on my forehead, paid hard earned money( ticket, train ,food and drink, something like £50,000 ) watching that garbage. The clueless Pressley patronises us by saying we were magnificent .
but we will be there for the next match because it's the Coventry way.we put up with mediocrity .PUSB

Obrien and mcqoid are the only players that seems capable of really pressing the opposition ,
