I can only pray the obvious has happened.

his comments about Webster playing like an international against Plymouth Argyle proved to me he had totally lost sense of reality and there was no way coming back from that

lets hope Fisher decides the same and throws the towel in too

Some blokes dad saw Pressley leaving the ricoh at 7 pm after a meeting with sisu, he said he had been sacked and was carrying his coat, so it must be true!!!

If the other thread is anything to go buy it seems this has been started by the guy who runs the sackpressley twitter account so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

We can only hope there is some truth in it.

If this is bollocks, the Twitter account in question should be absolutely hammered for getting our hopes up!

This Club will never succeed or thrive if it continues to sack managers and not stick with them through thick & thin.

I'm bored & fed-up with the "revolving door" policy we've adopted over the last 25 years or so, only worked once when Robins came in but he soon jumped ship for more ££££££££££'s and look where he is now?

I'm all for continuity, but why stick with someone who is hopeless, has no tactical awareness, has achieved nothing, chats absolute shit in every interview and now appears to have vilified a host of players aka bomb squad mark III

hopfully this is a case of 'aint no smoke without fire' but rumours on twitter are usually based on bullsmilk.

There is no point in continuity if the continuity is failure. He should be given a few more games to get his act together but you don't keep managers whose team is going down with him at the helm.

His signings have been very poor and his strategy on the field is failing. He is tactically ouwitted every time by the opposition manager.

This is thorn all over again of we are not careful. Problem is like thorn waggot offered him a new deal. If he doesn't sort this out by Christmas he will have to go and waggot should go as well.

I agree. There is no point in continuity if the continuity is failure.

SISU out.

I new you'd see the light sooner or later.

Reminds me very much of the Micky Adams situation. Doing reasonably well, gets given a new contract, upsets a few players, then cant buy a win.

Try to stay on topic Tony

OK. The common denominator in our demise is bad owners. Sacking SP will solve nothing long term we need wholesale change or nothing will change further than a few games to half a season at best. SISU out.

rumour is rife that Chris Eagles in coming in as player manager.

Fisher was overheard saying something about getting rid of a Turkey and getting an Eagle in

SISU will let it get a lot worse than it already is before they start thinking about paying out compensation. Bet it won't be cheap to pay off a 4 year deal!

jokes aside though, he must be on borrowed time?

I'd be very surprised if a contract they offered didn't include a way for them to back out on the cheap.

A few Twitter posts are saying CWR at 0830 tomorrow it'll be announced. Pinch of salt and all that, of course.

He will walk away still being paid for a while with no comment other than thanking fans and wishing the club the best. Shame TF and SW don't get held accountable for some of things they have done at the club the same way....

Can't see it happening. Surely they wouldn't announce it on CWR, They'd just release a statement on their website

Have always been a big fan of SP and wanted him to succeed BUT after witnessing that crap yesterday even I am doubting his ability to move us forward.Yes, I fully understand the constraints which he has been under but bloody hell that was absolutely useless yesterday and he did not seem able to change it.

Tbh if you listen to TalkSport you'll know The Moose can be a bit of 'numpty' (Not my words, those of Alan Brazil) from time to time.
