How long before Pressley does a Robins?

He looks a good manager but people will be looking at him, I hope he stays and sees the job through

There are plenty on here ......... you know who you are who have knocked SP unfairly before he had a chance.

If he does well I would not blame him if he wanted to leave the fiasco of CCFC

If we go on a good winning streak then no doubt other clubs will be interested in him and if they dangle some serious cash in front of his face, well who could blame him?

i honestly pray he is our very own Nigel Adkins, taking us from the bottom of League 1 to the prem, but we will see

he's won two lost two I'm not criticising pressley but it's early days. Robins took us from the relegation zone to play off contenders when he does that this thread can become useful.

Bearing in mind Robins was able to bring in Moussa, Bailey, Adams, plus replace McGoldrick with Leon Clarke. All added to an already deep squad.

Pressley has had the budget cut, and had to bring in youngsters. If Pressley gets us to where Robins did he'll have done a significantly better job.

McGoldrick not Robins took us from relegation to potential play off contenders but just after Robins had had his sky blue blood transfusion he jumped ship.

According to most on here I thought we were the worst team in League One?

I still need convincing but he has made a solid start and used the kids effectively too. Thought it may have been a problem having no use for the bomb squad but always thought if Clarke stays we would be OK. By all accounts we are playing good football. Long may it continue. His interview today was the best I have heard him speak so far.

congrats to Stephen Pressley

he started off the season 10 points off the top

And after 3 games, we are 13 points off the top

According to you last season we would be lucky to stay up and needed a miracle so people are not always right

I think you will find that was only when the fat lazy twat was in the hot seat.

Bit harsh considering we average 2 points per game.

i don't think so, mearly pointing out that people are making out that we have all of a sudden become barcelona

Supporting CCFC, and them not playing in CCFC is sh1t. Winning 2 games doesnt change that in my book

I don't think anyone thinks we've turned into Barcelona, just pleasantly surprised the young side have done well.

you are right

I'm just massively cheesed off its no longer a team who plays in Coventry

Lets face it, we now support a team who is further away from Coventry than Villa, Brum, Leicester etc

We are a funny lot. Very extreme postings on lots of stuff. After 3 games of his tenure - some were comparing him to Thorn. 3 games into the new season & some are comparing him to Robins.
As far as him leaving goes...SOME people are genuine in what they say. Maybe he does want to build a force to be reckoned with on this pitch. And maybe he is one of those that will do his upmost to see the job through & only the sack will stop him?

xmas is the time we need to be concerned about.
If this young team is doing well does anyone have any belief that they will still be together come the end of the transfer window?
SP likewise will pop up on peoples radar and when the casualties start SP will be poached ....boiled or fried

Any manager who has any success
Will get poached.
As the footballing world thinks we are are in so much financial trouble we cannot pay our rent.

We are an easy target for almost any approach for any playing or coaching staff and will remain so for a long time to come, but then we have always been in my lifetime !

Are Everton paying the rent?
