True. Might turn us down yet.

Isn't he meant to take the job 1st?

Even if he does tonight I very much doubt he will take anything to do with your weekend game

The main thing is that SISU are attempting to find a decent replacement for Robins, problem is there is not many very very decent managers that want to manage a league one team whos board can't afford to splash the cash about. Only someone insane would want to work for them, when they can go somewhere where they will get some money to spend on players. Common sense really. But whoever we get in we must support them and let him have at least a while before people start boo-ing and that.

He's been playing 1 up top for a while now, although that may be more to do with personnel.
He is big on keeping the ball with pass and move, he certainly doesn't do gun Ho.
We play 4,5,1 and have finished 3rd both previous seasons and on course to do so again.
Given the cuts to our budget and reliance on youth, we really shouldn't complain.
You guys understand my accent ok?

Sounds good, I have been asking on here why Pressley what has he done

Your feedback is convincing me

From reading your forum for all of 2 days you guys are a bigger scale version of ourselves.
Used to be top league.
Hate the chairman.
Club lacking direction
Reliance on youth

Yes, but England is 10X bigger than Scotland and our average crowd is just under 3000.
What English team outside your top 2 leagues average nearly 30,000?
Also we have far too many teams far too close together.
In the central belt of Scotland you will find about 60% of the 42 senior clubs.
It is actually amazing so many fans go to watch some of the teams.
We do ok when you look at population and how attractive the product is.
It's absolutely brutal up here when most towns have more kiddy on old firm fans than fans who actually go and watch the local team.
My area, Falkirk has thousands of Rangers fans that rarely go.
Because we have played them twice this season in the cups and I went to both games, I have actually been to more Rangers games than most Rangers 'fans'

I imagine you guys get the same problem with Man U, Man C and Liverpool etc?

I wasn't taking a pop at you actually, in fact I was empathising to a large extent with your situation. I've been to St Johnstone, Tannadice, Ross County and Inverness { a 2-1 with last minute screaming winner against Rangers, Xmas 2006} Met some very knowledgeable fans along the way. When you compare populations however, you do have to consider the make up of the 50 million in England, many people are foreigners and have no affiliation with any club and as you point out many just want to be associated with success and follow the 10 big SKY clubs and I include Rangers and Celtic in that. I'm sure I read somewhere that 3.5 million alone classed themselves as Man U fans in the UK.

As far as I am concerned, if he is prepared to take on the job in the present circumstances with all that is going on at the Club,
then good luck to him and he deserves our support. PUSB

Falkirk have a cathedral spire in their badge too, right? We don't in the badge, but we do have two cathedrals knocking around.

I like Falkirk as an old-school CM/FM player due to them always selling me Mark Kerr for peanuts, and him going on to rule the WORLD.

Skint.

It might be a misconception but the owners of our Football Club are not "Skint" they invest there money in such a way that suits them, an example of this would be the rent agreement over the Ricoh.

I've seen pictures of the Falkirk Wheel before, it looks like some kind of supervillain's tool of mass destruction.

All that money to lift boats from 1 canal to another.
Still, it looks great when thousands of bairns fans sing 'big wheel' whilst making a giant O with their arms.
