Like i say he spoke very openley tonight so im led to believe. We can but hope that its all true.im not sure matt smith will solve our probs up top as we need some pace.more defense signings required. Needed to keep murphy in my eyes could cost us dear losing him

His record given our tiny squad and all our the outfield problems is very respectable for me.

4 wins in 26 respectable ? . It's fucking shit . Laughing stock of English football after tonight . Bunch of fucking arse. Fisher and Waggott should just fuckoff as well , wankers the pair of them .

Feeding I think is the term.

Anyway, players wise, hopefully RJ will be back for Saturday, with Fleck in the middle, then we should have a competitive side. Hopefully!

Im sure if sp had money to spend of decent variety he woulld assemble a league winning squad. But no one could do better with what he has. No one could make better players to come and play at shitfields. He will come good

Ah well never mind, one you may just believe something! Also possible loan striker from Premiership club (if all parties see sense?), not sure about the Smith situation but would not surprise me if we made another bid.

As for the Ricoh, we'll be back (on a temporary basis) within 3 to 4 weeks!

I know few on here believe it, so let's just wait and see! PUSB

Great, lets all start paying money out again , to a hedge fund, who don't give a flying fuck, to watch the standard of football that was on display tonight. There is loyalty to our "team" etc but FFS I will never go again to be served up this garbage.

Danny Swanson, without the ball, was absolutely dreadful - as were Daniels, Fleck, McQuoid. The whole element of SP's pressing with intensity philosophy seems to not be adhered to - it's in stark contrast to how Clarke and Wilson were without the ball last season. Hopefully it improves as new signings bed in.

Some need to wake up to reality.
We have a huge debt. We have no real fixed assets. We are homeless. We are pretty much the football equivalent of Gaza.
We rely upon a monstrous ruthless, spoon-feeding, bullying controller.
WHO would want to try & do business with our owners to buy a club that has no tangible value? Operating in an industry not going anywhere? And then invest millions & millions in it to try to satisfy a baying bunch of fickle fans desire for success (minimally based upon a 34yr history which ended 13yrs ago)
Many diverse opinions out there I know, but the loudest ones are the typically unrealistic ones based on the "We are Coventry City...we are a big club" mentality. We WERE only ever at best a medium sized club with potential. We are now a small club in decline but with limited potential.

I wish I could disagree with some of this! The last two sentances hit the nail o the head

SP saying finch was excellent... Really?

So far half of his signings look dismal (just like last year)

4 wins in 26! Not good enough. Huddersfield come in for SP we get robins back in. Perfect for me

Finch is a kid in his first year thrown into a position that isn't his first choice. I think we can cut him a little slack.

So why put him in there??? Finch gave the ball away on numerous occasions as did Daniels and finch looked dodgy to say the least. Haynes on the other hand looked composed and a excellent talent as did Maddison who didn't look out of place.

I agree, would've gone for 442, or put Phillips at RWB. I'm just saying, don't blame the kid for the situation he was put in.

Depressingly accurate. Good post.

Agree on this. Some of the criticism is unfair. He should never have been put in that position to be honest.
