I wanted to see that myself as it sounded good. Reckon he ran towards our fans faster than Bolt ! that shows to me he's one of us.Is there any footage of Pressleys celebration?
That happened to me at the Stoke tie when Gynn scored ended up being crushed.funny how you feel no pain when your happy !I don't know about the best, but the scariest for me was when we equalised against Leeds in the semi at Hillsborough. Felt like we were being pushed down a mountain as we surged forward. Worth it though! Good old Gynny.

Has to be the most memorable as it was the last goal to be scored at Highfield Road. Can't believe all what's happened since then !Andrew Whings celebration for his goal on that emotional last day at Highfield Road was pretty incredible !
Talking about funny celebrations,I recall Gordon Banks in goal for Stoke celebrating a goal for them in front of the West End.He got pelted in bananas as he got called a monkey by City fans, but he calmly just ate one ! great keeper though.A funny goal celebration I seen was at forest 2003, Juan Sara on loan from Dundee scored 87th minute equaliser in a game we was never in. In front on the celebrating sky blue fans he lifted his shirt to reveal Jesus loves you. A week later we loose 2-0 at Rochdale in the cup! Being a city fan hay!!!
Knocked myself out at Spurs the year we should have been relegated....its a really steep stand at Spurs and I had drank more beer than you can shake a hairy stick at. I was so sure we were going down...God bless our old freinds Sunderland.
Ahhhhh what memories, one of the best if not the best City performance I have seen. Would have been happy with a point but the way we completely outclassed Spurs in every area of the pitch I think we would have beaten anybody that day. Rang up their club shop the next day and brought the match vid.

I was wearing a particularly loose pair of slip on shoes that day, I had to fight my way back up the terrace to find them after that goalI don't know about the best, but the scariest for me was when we equalised against Leeds in the semi at Hillsborough. GAry Mac's "no celebratoin" when he scored against us for Liverpool. You see it all the time now, but quite a rare thing in those days. Right in front of where I used to sit, and the expressoin on his face said it all - he knew we were doomed as well. Soz - didn't mean to go on downer!
Willo jumping into Pendrey's arms after the 30 yarder v Newcastle.
Garry Thompson after scoring the winner in the LC semi in 81. He was in tears as well as the rest of us where I was sitting!

Can't remember the game but the one when Speedie climbed to the top of the fence in front of the West End and cut his hand on the spikes on the top.
I think it was after that they took the spikes off and replaced them with that gooey sticky paint.
I remember watching Gary Mac and thinking 'he's only doing that because everyone else does it these days'. It seemed completely contrived to me - and I'm sure his started celebrating before remembering he wasn't supposed to.
Never understand the love for Gary Mac. He signed a four year contract - was shit for two years, injured for one, brilliant for one, and then disappeared to Liverpool for nothing. Nice one!
