First proper test today..Preston will be a more physical game than carlisle or Bristol. ..can see it being tight....2-1 cov. ...just hope the youngsters will be up for a battle.

The fact is though that these "some people" are now the minority, so any mention of Football is almost a sideshow to the enduring problems that have been created off the field. We are neither home or away today, and the majority of fans seem to be unable to just forget that and talk about a game as if nothing has happened. What I can tell you though is we need to win. We are still to get a point on the board FFS....oh wait that's self inflicted too...and we are back to the off field problems again.

But it's all ACL's fault! Even though there was no need to go into liquidation in the first place and the administration process was flawed.

Clarke to score first, Manset to get a last minute winner.

On the PNE forums they are mostly going COV 1-2 PNE but a lot of them have Clarke down to score first!

Could be tight, I'll go 2-2

not allowed to talk about the attendance then? And how weird the atmosphere will be once again? Match threads have always been about more than 11 men on a field kicking a ball around, Nick it seems to me you're indulging in cheap irrelevant point-scoring yourself by trying to shoot down valid discussion of the context of the match, how about some constructive contribution about the football instead eh?

Attendence is fine, pointless posts asking where the game is being played and if it it's an away game is off topic and can be carried on in one of the 1900000000 nopm threads surely?

People keep saying the ones going to games are selfish but just reading on message boards it is the opposite.

3-1 Clarke, Wilson & Daniels.

Think with the way we are scoring we've got this one in the bag, plus i cant stand Preston, Daniels will want to preform with Baker returning from his suspension. I just really want us to win :)

Well if you let the likes of Grendel run about hassle free, can't really complain when the troll count rises on the other side can you?

Tough game today, Preston are everything we're not: experienced, strong, manager with tactical canniness. We're on good form and they'll be pressure to do well and keep the Sixfields pressure up.

I'm going 2-2, late equaliser for Preston. Wilson and Clarke to score.
