The ball was spinning from the deflection as he struck it.
Difficult to get a clean controlled strike on a spinning ball.
Hence the slice.

Yea I can see that perspective but it bounced off the floor first so thought that would have taken a lot of the spin and speed off it.

Looked to me like he could have passed or poked it in rather than try to strike it with laces. If Simms or wright missed that, they're crucified on here.

Sorry for late reply and sorry if I have upset you. I just think as a fan I have a right to voice my opinions and questions right or wrong in others eyes? It’s was only an opinion and more of a rhetorical question.

I never understood the context of it all and only asked for clarification. Still don’t!
