Do you write about football anywhere? Because I love reading your analyses, I’d definitely read a blog or column.
Well that's really nice of you, thanks. I manage and coach the first team of a club out here and they are pretty time consuming - from planning training to organising match days, to just man managing a very diverse group of multinational footballers. So I'm honestly not sure I'd have the time to blog and probably not the desire to either.
Truthfully, I have very little interest in football outside of either City or the teams I play for/coach e.g you'd never catch me watching Bristol City vs Sheffield Wednesday on a Friday night, just for the love of the game. As a result my knowledge of players and teams outside of the league we're in is terrible (you'll never see me speculating on signing threads!). All in all I'd imagine my audience is going to be very narrow as a result! I might as well just PM you my insights! :p

I'm going to add some comment here, been quiet all season.

Coventry had a loss before this game and was nestling around the 1600 rating for the second time. Godden had been injured for a few games. The next game though Godden was back in the side from injury, City won, and this also coincided with the climb back up the ratings..

There may be some sort of correlation here.

If you ever get the chance to listen again to the post match interview with Robins after the game, I believe it was against Lincoln (21/12), he sounded quite adamant. It's a hidden gem.

I paraphrase because my memory isn't what it use to be.

"'...that's the missing part of the jigsaw back.... we're going on a promotion push..."

Let me tell you, he wasn't wrong.

Well I’m grateful for your posts, really fascinating insights, keep it up. Would you go onto a podcast like Nii Lamptey if asked?

Coming back from 1 down to batter Bristol away with magnificent football. Max's late winner against Bolton, followed by the late winner at Portsmouth. I was literally losing my shit jumping round the living room when Godden scored... that's when I really knew it was going to be our year.

Glad I was there to see us beat Sunderland and go top - not gonna lie, shed a tear.

Leaving the pompey away game a few of their fans kept telling us we were going to go up this year. From there it became a regular thing at most away grounds. Surely they couldn't all be wrong.. and they werent
