Do you think Wasps can't secure stadium sponsorship until either CCFC or SISU are gone? Ditching CCFC will create too much bad publicity so try and get out SISU or engineer it so it looks like SISU's fault we left the Ricoh.

There is certainly more going on.

They denied a "PR Assault" last time, but I think even this is getting a bit obvious.

Who are 'they'?

What is obvious to me is that a good number of City fans who have had enough are trying to do something to affect a change for the better, for the sake of the club.

You constantly toggle between conspiracy theories and truth to suit your argument.

Just accept that not everyone agrees with you, and if they don't agree with you it doesn't automatically mean they are wrong.

It is almost like you are just posting in reply to individuals on here rather than the actual topics (not football ones either), very strange.

Anyway, a PR attack was denied in the past wasn't it? That is a fact. There was a PR attack in the past, that is also a fact.

You can continue and bang on about Conspiracy Theories if you want and how I am making things up, it is obvious though to anybody with eyes that is there is more to this.

It is nothing to do whether anybody agrees with me or not is it? Still, people can come on and try and make out there is nothing going on as much as they want. Sadly, people on here (not just me) don't tend to fall for the shite as easily as others.

I tend to challenge statements which I think that are unfair, misleading, or have an agenda. The fact that most of them appear to be related to a few members is probably just a coincidence.

So are you saying that the fans who want to make a protest haven't got a mind of their own, and are working on some grand PR quest on behalf of other organisations?

I am saying there is a massive PR game going on here, it is being whipped up into a bit of a frenzy isn't it? Headline News : Man makes a sign in Microsoft Word and prints it out. IT is quite clear that it is being drummed up and other people will be taking advantage of this (just like they have done in the past, which is also a fact).

It is quite clear there is a bit of an onslaught about the club and SISU at the minute.

I think the fact you have signed up to a football forum and gone at people who have said things about Wasps sort of points to you coming on here with an agenda, doesn't it?

I am a life long (disillusioned) city fan and have been reading for a long time. I have become increasingly irritated that people's rational and well argued comments are dismissed. I had no intention of commenting myself as I know it is ultimately a fruitless, and time wasting exercise, and changes nothing.

I've seen how anyone with an alternative view is shouted down, so I wanted to have my say. What has been clear to me after only 25 posts is that no matter what your view is there is a mission to rebuff dissenting voices.

I will step away now, as I have convinced myself that I should have swerved this particular destination.

Where is the mission?

It is almost as if you came on to disagree with certain people, yet when people reply or disagree back it is "rebuffing dissenting voices".

There are plenty of people on here who disagree with things, people like Tony, Last, BHSB, Sky Blue Kid etc etc and right or wrong (the same as if I am right or wrong) they debate and don't throw bitch fits saying they won't come back if somebody disagrees with them.

I said the PR stuff was fact, but you don't actually seem too interested in that after you tried to make out I was making them up or it was a "conspiracy theory"? This happened last time too (you might have seen that) where people were on a rampage about SISU, out of the blue things were getting dragged up left, right and centre. New users were appearing, old users who hadn't visited in a few years were appearing and I pointed out that something was going on, because the "activity" on here wasn't really that normal.

What happened then? Well, some more new users signed up just to tell me I was making things up.

Then what happened? The news came out about Wasps at the academy and it was quite clear that the Anti SISU stuff was drummed up, those users didn't login here again after, they didn't argue any of their points or explain them.

Now, I am not saying people aren't Anti SISU, of course they are it is just the fact that things stand out and don't look "natural".

You have come on and said that things like PR Attacks are a conspiracy theory, it is you trying to dismiss the things I am saying but the thing is, it is a fact.

If you disagree with me one more time I'm off and that'll be it

What is sad is that Simon Gilbert is pushing this hard, getting himself on the news about it and doing a proper job.

Has anybody seen much about the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund through the Telegraph?

A quick look on google and they've seem to have covered it

Couldn't find anything from the Observer though. Not sure how that fits in with your conspiracy theory. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough for the Observer coverage.

I saw that,I meant the link in my signature stuff :)

It probably won't sell books though will it.

Probably isn't anything in the observer. Same goes for all of them, trust haven't mentioned it, and I hope it gets more.coverage.at the game today.

Difference is, gilbert is trying to sell a book.

And he still has time to cover the Jimmy Hill Legacy story.

Maybe LR is releasing a bigger book. Must be hard back ;)

He didn't cover it? Big news about a sign being made.

Quite right, he didn't. The telegraph still did though despite you insinuating they didn't so you can accuse them of biased reporting. The irony there of course being that the telegraph seem to actually cover every CCFC story whether that be fan's protesting to match report to signings to our owners days in court to the Jimmy Hill legacy yet the paper that only covers games, signings and stories trying to paint our owners as a victim who everyone is ganging up on you don't want to accuse of biased reporting.

I was on about the link in my signature, not just the launch of it ;)

Coventry Telegraph political correspondent Les Reid has resigned and warned he may sue publisher Trinity Mirror.

Reid also said it was “good news” editor Alun Thorne is leaving the paper this month.

Announcing his resignation on Twitter, Reid said he was planning a book on the “decline of public interest journalism”.

Anything in either paper about the official launch at the Shrewsbury game or the kit amnesty?

Not that I can see. It's a real shame that one doesn't seem to have considered it newsworthy in the first place and the one that did doesn't consider it newsworthy enough to follow it up.

(edit) just to add. Nick deserves some credit here. Most of the stuff I found out about it I heard first through the PM's he's sent me and I assume they're something everyone gets and he's not singled me out for special treatment.
