I mean headline news that there's been a fight at a pub or somebody being sick.

There have been gatherings for months.

But those gatherings weren't allowed - these are. Supposed to be distanced etc and in some cases it wasn't and as people asked how do you police it effectively? Now, if they'd been gathered on a bridge I'm sure you'd have considered it headline news.

Been an amusing few weeks on twitter tbh, also highlights what a cesspool it is.

People angry at Beach goers, But not angry at BLM protesters.
People angry at BLM protesters but not bothered about beach goers.
People pissed off at old people drinking pre 10 am but not bothered about thousands of youngsters at clubs at night.
People angry about raves but not about protests.
People happy to protest but going to the beach will cause armageddon.
And vice versa

People blaming everybody but themselves for a rise in R rates despite being involved in 1 of the above themselves...

Government being blamed for all which is true but people do have common fucking sense to fall back on if they aren't sure..

Been funny to say the least

those gatherings were also headline news.
And it doesn't matter what happened yesterday, whether there were riots or no one bothered going out, it was always going to be headline news.
Calling it super Saturday didn't do anything to calm the hype.

Surely it makes the ones not allowed worse?

FWIW I’m angry with all on that list. It’s been like it from day one. Older people seem to struggle just as much as young (Soc. dist.). we live in strange times.

It's been interesting hearing and reading about reaction to a few young folks enjoying a long awaited night out last night compared to the older generation getting hammered in the street during actual lockdown on VE Day.....

I'm from generation x and im an old skool raver.....and i know if I was a yoot today, I'd be out partying too....fuck the daily mail attitude...all things considered.... .the kids are alright man...the kids are alright.

Rave on.

and they get covered. Not to the extent pubs reopening were but as they weren't allowed it's not like you can have someone there to provide ongoing updates and reports. They could do that when they knew pubs were reopening so the reporters were on the scene ready, esp for if it ended up with no distancing etc as was inevitably going to happen somewhere.

Place enough reporters around the country and one is going to have something newsworthy.

Have to admit I’ve felt better.

However, was a good crack being back in the boozer but lockdown has definitely taken its toll on people as there was plenty of stories of peoples relationships ending, excess drinking and some of the hair do’s put Dr Emmett Brown to shame!!!

People being at BLM and anti-slavery protests but then the number of BAME people and probably BLM protestors queuing round the block to get into Primark to buy a 2 quid vest made by slave labour in Bangladesh or Cambodia.

Been up to our local Garden Centre today for the first time, and the number of bewildered-looking old people wandering round randomly like watching bacteria down a microscope, totally devoid of any understanding of social distancing or the good one-way markings that have been set out! Unbelievable, Brian!

What was going on with that van? Anyone know? In fact what was it all about?
I didn't know if the van (or its occupants) were the catalyst, or whether they just got caught up in it, but the driver was a fucking menace - could easily have run someone over with his back-and-forth movements!

Was part of it by all accounts.

I hear that someone then stuck in a knife in its tyres but might be bollocks.

Again more rumours but supposedly few members of a quite notorious Coventry gang involved.

Sound like I’m on Loose fucking Women.

I thought like you, it was trying to get by, but the car the other way didn't seem to want to back up, for some reason, so it ended up in the melee.

Wouldn't be the time to turn up there, anyway!

Been a week since the pubs have opened.

What's the verdict overall in terms of booking, what details you need to give away and the experience once you are in?

Doesn't this just make you feel so very proud? The Albany must have ran out of Crayons, what a bunch of absolute cunts.
