People seem to think we’re in the market for the finished article. We’re not. We’re looking for players with obvious flaws and backing ourselves to iron them out. No one is saying Baka or Kasta, to take two oft used examples, doesn’t have something about them, raw talent or raw attributes, but both clearly have mental issues getting the most from them. Hilßner’s fitness, Dacostas ability to know what his legs are doing, all things we have taken a gamble on being able to improve enough to make them a better player.

In the case of hilsner why was it no one spotted his health problems as if they researched players properly it would have been spotted.

Seems a strange build up to the game. Not seen or heard much from the players or Robins. Hopefully means they are properly knuckling down.

Mostly trying to run through opponents with his head down or trying Hollywood shots that give possession away
And that's in his his show reel :unsure:

The fact we paid money for Baka is a bit concerning especially when Walsall fans could not believe their luck

It's not worked out as hoped no but stupid signing is harsh. It's a very small outlay on a young player with potential & you can see he has a lot of attributes. For whatever reason, we've failed to tap into that potential. Many such signings won't work out, others do, that's the model we have.

We have little idea what we paid for him in reality. He’s lived down to the Walsall reviews of him and he should never have had a contract extension

Anyway, back to the the QPR game ! Lyndon Dykes is starting for Scotland tonight, so will be less likely to start for QPR on Friday (more likely Austin and Bonne?)
