On overseas signings there's not been to many stand outs for me. Hamer probably the exception if your getting players off videos don't think it's the way to go as any montages of highlights is a rubbish solotion.

People seem to think we’re in the market for the finished article. We’re not. We’re looking for players with obvious flaws and backing ourselves to iron them out. No one is saying Baka or Kasta, to take two oft used examples, doesn’t have something about them, raw talent or raw attributes, but both clearly have mental issues getting the most from them. Hilßner’s fitness, Dacostas ability to know what his legs are doing, all things we have taken a gamble on being able to improve enough to make them a better player.
The fact we paid money for Baka is a bit concerning especially when Walsall fans could not believe their luck

It's not worked out as hoped no but stupid signing is harsh. It's a very small outlay on a young player with potential & you can see he has a lot of attributes. For whatever reason, we've failed to tap into that potential. Many such signings won't work out, others do, that's the model we have.
