It is a generic statement.

It will not effect tax payers. ACL made profit last year council tax payers do not get a rebate.

No that is a good point, the two seem very interwined.

Does the charity get the profit.

Neither the charity nor the council get any profit. There's a shareholders' agreement to plough any profits back into the arena e.g. Expanding the hotel. The two are only "intertwined" in so far as they are partners in ACL.

Intertwined because they work together for the good of the complex, those who work there and the continued regeneration of the north of Cov and they actually trust each other - can't see it being the case if SISU were one of the partners, those bridges have been well and truly burned

Ok so the profits go back into the arena. Which helps coventry city.
