I read it all. What do I win?
Too many suppositions as fact used for the basis of several points. 3/10.

I make a 360mile round trip to watch, and I understand that getting on his back will onlyPeople get on his back because he isn't trying anywhere near as hard as he could be doing. The only showing of not having a scoobie is the fact that you don't understand that.

make him go backwards. I also understand where we are,and don't go expecting to watch
a loaned 19 year old ripping teams to shreds every week.
Honest question do you think in some games,he doesn't try on purpose.
I just think with him it's a confidence issue rather than a habit, and I too wouldI don't believe he does it on purpose, it's just a bad habit that he's got into, and one he's not only got used to but been allowed to get away with. Hence why I think the man management needs to be better if we're going to get the best out of him. The getting on his back comes hand in hand too. If you're not trying as hard as you should be and the manager isn't making that clear then the paying public may well decide to make their thoughts heard.
I really want the lad to do well, and we've seen what he can do, but I really do believe he can do it a bit more often if he put more effort in.
No counter argument then? Says it all.
In August many on here were drooling over the talk we were signing Chris Eagles, we didn't Bury did, we ended up with Jacob Murphy on probably half the wages. Who got the better deal ?
I'd agree that it is a bad habit that he's fallen back into. I picked up on it when he made his first appearance at Walsall early on in the season. His footballing brain when defending is a couple of steps behind play, most likely because he's never had to concentrate for prolonged periods on it. He did seem to learn how to press effectively, and that coincided with us improving as a team. But now he's back to lacking sharpness in defence, allowing his man to have a touch before pressing him.
To suggest a player is not trying and a supporter from Earlsdon can see it but an experienced management team cannot is pretty stupid really.

I'm sure he scored a worldie in that game ?I'd agree that it is a bad habit that he's fallen back into. I picked up on it when he made his first appearance at Walsall early on in the season. I'm sure we were linked with Eagles before this, weren't the bookies giving 1stThe Eagles talk started after we had signed Murphy, it was just as Cole signed. We got Cole instead of Eagles, not Murphy.

Don't think TM bought him in for his defensive capabilities, as has been said many timesBecause, of course, scoring a worldie and defending poorly are mutually exclusive.
But with our strengthened defence he will now be able to concentrate on all out attack, which is why there was a distinct improvement against Bury!
Tony Mowbray was really interesting, and gave quite an insight.
Said a lot about JOB, players contracts, decisions he makes, Armstong, Reda, Joe Cole etc.

Would you mind expanding on this if you can remember?
I don't agreed JOB fitted with TMs method of being positive, and getting the best out of players. JOB was never wrong, never at fault, and very angry at times. Wanted to play every second of every game.
i believe the dressing room will be a better place without him, so let's see if the results show that.
Arma has a lot to do to improve, with his off the ball play, needs to watch and learn from the really world class strikers, for when he is up against quick defenders that he will be finding at a higher level.
He certainly knows his stuff, and has a real passion and love for the game. I was impressed. He does talk a lot, and in depth and honestly.
Best player he has ever worked with (question from me) Gary Pallister.
Sounds like a Roy Keane typeI enjoyed last night. Food was ok, good laugh with mowbary. Made me laugh when he called job a lunatic. Although he did say job would go mental after some games when we lost and literally had a go swearing at players when there was no need for it
