The Sixfields gamble has failed, gates this season wll fall below 1000.
So the option is this lingering death? Bring on the Northampton Sky Blue Sox.
SISU knew the rent and they have Lawyers to spare, they thought this limey council would be a pushover and hand over a landmark pubic building for nothing.
I just think we need to be cynical of everything..
you've come to the right place !
I could be calling for SISU to accept this offer when I don't know anything about it and then if anything goes wrong I can just say "Ah well, SISU's fault for accepting it isn't it?"
Nothing wrong with being cautious / cynical and thinking with the head rather than the heart.
tbf your right. If only we had done that instead of handing over our shares to SISU !
Everything.
Questions to answer is the thread. There will be no club to answer questions about if something is not done soon.
It probably depends on what Michael's newsletter said that week...
Do you agree that after all the shit we need to be cynical and get things right?
Not cynical otherwise we become like our owners:facepalm: I dont know anymore of this offer than anybody else here however what I do know is that there are more ways than one to look at offers or statements suggest you read into it.
Feel free to explain?[/QUOT
Everything in this whole fiasco is not as it seems I always look at these things differently now sometimes I'm right other times I'm wrong all I'm is look at the offer then see how it fits in with what most peoples view of Sisus intentions are. As I say I may be wrong probably am.

What are your views on the offer?

Dialogue maybe a start maybe or if its rejected out of hand then the end maybe.
I think the offer is so vague in terms of figures that the club will have to meet with kcic to find out more info
Ultimately I think it will be rejected. Sisu will find a reason to

why would they ?
issued a statement saying club isnt for sale.

No we won't. Michael has a consortium of businessmen who are prepared to pay £1 million towards the rent.

Nobody is attacking him?And as usual you miss out the main part and just use the headline to try and get a point across whilst having a dig at someone who is trying much more than yourself to bring our club home. Remember your last attempt at a protest?
And before certain people try and have a go at me I am not saying he has gone about it the right or wrong way. I can see merits on both. But at least he is doing more than the vast majority of us. And as usual some seem to see him as a target to attack. No wonder SISU are having such an easy time doing what they are.
Only just read this post and not read any replies but surely all your questions will be part of any negotiations if there are any should sisu want any, can't expect any answers to your reasonable list yet until there is a response from sisu. I suspect the various scenerios of your questions and others have been aired and discussed, so basically as said it is over to sisu now and we all await their response . I do agree the other thread is now a joke gone off in tangents all over the place. If any of the main players have been following that they will surely be mezmorised by now.As the other thread seems to have been blurred with a lot if nonsense these are the questions that need answering;
Has kcic had formal talks with ACL and a 3 year agreement has in principal been agreed?
Why quote a 5,000 attendance? Does this mean that if the attendance is 10,000 kcic will cover 50% of the rent or 0%?
If it is 0% what was the reasoning behind making an offer of contribution that will never be honoured?
Have kcic confirmed with the football league that a 3 year arrangement is acceptable if in the home city and not the normal 10 years?
What was the reasoning behind making a bid for the club that was a figure designed for headline publicity rather than a serious offer?
If £1 million has been raised for rent this would sure be enough for 3 seasons anyway so why not just offer a deal free of charge as the American guy was attempting to do?
Pretty reasonable I think.

Possibly yes, my gut feeling is they probably have before this proposal/idea call it whatever was submitted. Can't see that ever being admitted to though. For all we little people know Sepalla/Fisher/Elliott/Hoffman/Heskell uncle Tom Cobberly and all have been discussing our club for months. The only one of that lot I have any time for is uncle Tom Cobberly !!
