Forum is quiet due to the holidays and a lack of actual news to report so thought I'd have a go at a quick quiz for you all.

We are known to be the first club to have an "unofficial" first team shirt sponsorship with the Talbot T shirt in the 1980s. And we haven't had many due to multiple year contracts. But testing your memory (and not Google or Bing), who was the shirt sponsor in :

1: 2005/6 (Home and away shirts)

2: 1984/85 (Home shirt)

3: 1998/99 (Home shirt)

4: 1998/99 (Away shirt)

5: 2008/09 (Home shirt)

6: 2008/09 (Away/Third shirt)

7: 1994/95 (Goalkeeper shirt)

9: 2019/20 (Third Two-Tone shirt)

10: 2015/16 (Away shirt)


Unlike Grendel's Christmas quiz, while I would like to, this is not being run in aid of any charity or with prizes. If you wish to donate to your favoured charity, please do and your prize will be the built-in satisfaction of helping a good cause.

All answers have been checked using online sources so are deemed to be <5% accurate (ie. don't shoot me if the info is wrong ) And if this fails, I promise this will be my first and last attempt.

Alkhen, in your case, it was your guess for Q2 that let you down, which has admittedly baffled a few.

And from my research, some shirts (home,away, third, GK) did have different sponsors for the same season. I did put some of these variants in but due to the shortage of sponsors over the last 40 years ??!!, I didn't want to leave out the GK or third shirt so these were inserted even if the sponsor was the same as the home. Sorry, it could be called cheating but it adds to the mystery
