It’s a tough one but having never seen The Killers live going to stick with them at the CBS rather than go to this.

Such a shame they’re both on the same day.

Missus got us tickets for the Sunday even though there were 9000 ahead of her in the queue as did a few mates.

Saturday night The Killers followed by a day of music all in Cov sounds a fucking great weekend to me!

I heard somewhere another 10k tickets will be made available this week, is that correct or have all tickets definitely gone?

As someone who lives away from the City and naturally my ears pick up "Coventry and Commentary" lots, I've never heard Coventry mentioned so much, particularly on Radio 1.

Is it coincidence with the Big Weekend or are the BBC pushing more callers/texters from Coventry?

thought id bump this as its the run up to it, looking forward to it, got tickets for Saturday and Sunday so weekend of a Session and fun in the sun :cool:

Got tickets for Saturday looking forward to it. I walked past the little Radio 1 studio they've set up in cathedral square earlier.

Kind of wish I had tickets for the Sunday now they've announced Harry Styles. I think he's got some decent songs... Not sure I'm allowed to say that though... :ROFLMAO:

I have tickets for the Sunday but couldn’t care less about Harry Styles. Gonna try and talk the other half into heading to the dance tent instead.

I live about 1/2 mile away and can hear it clearly sat it the lounge with the TV on which is never an issue with Godiva or anything else they have on in the park. Imagine a few of the locals won't be happy.

Just watching Disclosure and Danny Howard on the red button and even if it isn’t your thing you have to admit this is massive for the city.

Seen a couple of familiar faces gurning their way through the sets as well. 😜
