i actually do not know what he brings to the table. he has no leadership qualities, his experience amounts to absolutely zilch, hes nervy on the ball, has no pace to keep up with anyone, has less passing skill than a typical Sunday league centre back. he heads the ball aimlessly even if he hasn't got a opposition player within 50 yards of himself. he is infuriating to watch, and needs to be dropped from the team immediately, absolutely useless. stokes in 1 billion times better than him at centre back, even a person that doesn't watch football regularly could tell that Ramage is god awful. Mowbray is a class manager and im sure will get us a win against Port Vale, but he needs to drop this idiot at the back with absolutely nothing about him. cant wait for another CB and striker on loan, hopefully soon, cause i cant stand Ramage, he is useless !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :censored::facepalm::mad::jerkit::thinking about:

We were desperate for a CB, he was available, he looked half decent in training, we signed him, it hasn't worked out how we planned as it's clear he doesn't or hasn't in the past played the way we want to, but we have no option but to play him as we have no other option.

Longest sentence ever without a full stop!

sorry about my grammar, but i was on my rant, i wouldn't pick Ramage though in a million years, stokes can play his role and then put Haynes left back, Ramage is not the answer !!!

People don't seem to understand what half the squad bring to the table. We are in League 1 yet fans seem to be judging with Premiership eyes.

I love posts like we need a dominant centre half. We need a Dion Dublin type centre forward. Who are these players and were are they?..answer I am not a football manager.

But I am prepared to help stir up a shit storm to get one sacked. A manager that has given us our best season for years. He has had one summer to do a major rebuild and part of an over inflated (by tradition) January market.

Don't judge progress against your own over inflated idea of where we are actually at.

With some of these older players who were once decent, then mysteriously dont play for a season or so, is it a possibility that the drop in form that kept them out for a while could be due to the adoption of bad social habits?

Could be, probably also some who think they are worth more than they are and by the time they realise nobody needs them.

Just call him damage. My old Dad would run faster than him he also hoofs balls into the abyss hoping it either stays in or finds a spot within 10m of a city player. Fook sake we really need a Reda replacement asap.

Post like 'we need a dominant centre half' though are only reiterating exactly what TM has been saying!

What's wrong with posters agreeing with the manager who is actively searching for such a player?

It's not like it's fantasy talk by fans or anything.

My mate is a Palace season ticket holder and they all speak fondly of him over there! Have not seen it yet but a little too ealry to write him off in my book......however if Martin is fit he should have a rest that being said and drop to subs bench!

40 games for them in the 2011-12 season. That's nearly 4 years ago, when he would have been 28.

He's now 32 and is unfortunately as slow as a carthorse and is playing like he is 52.

TM has already said he's not that comfortable with the ball at his feet. We also know he is incredibly slow.

We also know he came from the Indian leagues.

Strikes me quite clearly that he was brought in because we were desperate and couldn't get anyone else.

I think the minute we secure a CB in the transfer or loan window, Ramage will be consigned to the bench at best.
