My expectation this season is that we bring in 2-3 loanees to start or at least be competing for the starting berth. More of a Callum Doyle type loan than a Luis Binks.

My guess is that we have not brought him over from Oz to train with the under 23’s …. But ultimately Robins will have to decide whether the first team squad is too early for him.

I doubt it was Kings decision to award Godden a new deal.If we don't move Godden on then King is clearly aspiring for 3 mid table finishes in 5 years, not top 6!

Honestly I think he's adapting to the wide role anyway and the USMNT are also wanting him to fill that role as opposed to being a direct forward. I just don't know who's honestly good enough to compete with Simms that's in our price range unless it's a loan move and even then I can't think of any clear talent that's available within our range that'd also fit with our style unless it's in the overseas market.I expect us to bring in a new striker assuming Godden leaves.
