He was a cheap buy. The biggest reason anyone is interested in him is because we spent big on EMC apparently not knowing that he plays the other side of the pitch.
Fair point. My understanding when we bought him him was that he played across the front 3. My comment really relates to the fact that Robins seems reluctant to use him there when I saw that as being the position he would predominantly be expected to play. Also, on reflection perhaps the club were more worried about Wright being able to complete the games than they were about Sakamoto at the time.Strange how he played on both sides for Peterborough and has said himself he is not bothered which side of the pitch he plays on. I love the way these myths created by fans develop.
Falling off the saddle, is the best Saddle.Rogue Saddle is best Saddle
Get on the pillion then,!🫣Falling off the saddle, is the best Saddle.
Are you sure this isn’t duff info? He started 21 games for his Australian club last year, granted much lower level, only thing I can think of is he didn’t look after himself in the close season?
Which would be equally strange if he knew he had a big move to Europe on the horizon.
took saka a bit to get goingYou've answered your own question mate. It was a much lower level.
The training for the A League is equivalent to L2 level here
Once we get him there he will be a great player sure, but no point in that if he can only last 25 minutes without tearing a hammy. His strength and conditioning is the focus
“We have just got to be careful with him. If I grab hold of him and try to get him out on the grass and up to speed too quickly, chances are that he’ll break down again. But he has got to become robust to have a career in the game. And whilst it’s disappointing, it must be horrendous for him and really frustrating because he came here looking to hit the ground running.”
Sausage. sWhat foodstuff can we use to describe him then?

Always said the same...Good squads rely on adamptabiliy not regidetty. Strength is developed over time. Yes in our world we have spent a lot in a short space of time. But compared to most it is still a moderate spend. Not so long ago we were a skeleton in the desert.
Absolutely. We did some proper patching the play off season. My point here was more that I don't think most of us really expected Raphael to be starting games at this point in his career. I saw him as one for the future/later in the season.Good squads rely on adamptabiliy not regidetty. Strength is developed over time. Yes in our world we have spent a lot in a short space of time. It's just people hanging off every word the 'ITK' say around here. Most normal people appreciate some of what they say is correct, some is said with good intention but with a bit of guess work, and some is just complete bollocks.Really glad we’ve written off a 20yo we’ve never seen play and have no idea what his injury situation even is. Very normal behaviour guys.
What does ‘fitness’ mean specifically here… does it mean he’s unfit because he’s lazy and not kept in shape, or does it mean his body is struggling to adapt to a change in regime following an injury. From MR’s comments, unless what he’s said is completely fabricated, it’s the player needs to be primed to perform at the intensity required. Perhaps the ITK information has been misinterpreted or possibly even inaccurate. It's just people hanging off every word the 'ITK' say around here. Sheaf picked up an injury at Stevenage away and has barely played a half of football yet. He’s not considered lazy.
Training today
He can play on the left wing with Wright, EMC and DaSilva with Bidwell just behindHe's in goal on Saturday if Wilson's out is the rumour I've just heard
If one buys into such superstitions, indeed.Wearing the number 17 shirt - if we were Birmingham City we'd have retired it.
Last two players I can remember wearing it for us were Gyokeres and O'Hare in the League 1 season, good omen?
Fuck sake
