Anther one out of left-field no one saw coming. An exciting buy I feel.
As many have already said, we have a ready made song.
Not sure the level of OZ footie but pace is always helpful.

Is that compared to all winger/AMs or everyone in the league? That’s an important distinction.

If this is a cheap signing, it’s probably worth making but I’m not overwhelmed. Yet, at 20 he’s a player we can mould and develop into a better player.
Says vs A league wingers.

why are we signing young Brazilian wingers from abroad with bags of potential linked with big clubs across Europe? Should be getting mark Albrighton in.

When are our fans going to learn to trust the management and scouting team? We already have Haji, Sakamoto and EMC as senior wingers. This lad would start as back up to them.

@Saddlebrains is correct when he says we do need some experience too though

I like the signing though as back up/squad filler

The experience can come later we need a mixture of all sorts but I would say pace will be important

Christian vieri?
Spent time in Australia growing up and speaks English with an Aussie accent which caught me off guard first time I heard him interviewed on Gazetta Football Italia.

Yeh brilliant striker and I believe the most expensive player of all time at one point. Although if I'm not mistaken Crespo took that from him very shortly afterwards.

I slightly disagree, we need an experienced head this summer at Centre bank or Centre midfield

you need one or two in the squad
Yeh defo, although preferably more 28-30ish than 31-33ish

Could be a shrewd bit of business, sounds like he has options and if he picks us then im sure he will give his all and buy into the culture. . Its no doubt a big step up but if he signs the staff will work out the quickest way of giving him the best opportunity to make the grade.

As for the video clips he looks athletic , quick, strong and runs with his head up which is always a good sign..He has to come with a good attitude to be patient and open his ears to learn quickly if he wants to get 1st team chances early on. Lets see good luck to the lad if he comes, hope he is a superstar in the making.
