Surely we can beat Barnsley unless they are laughing at us for signing half of their defence and their keeper

Similar movement again, McCallum gets on the end of it this time, lino says it doesn't quite make it over the line after the keeper jumps on it. Looked in to me and I'm stood behind that goal!

Rapha looking good when he gets a direct run at defenders. Nearly slotted Dausch through but it held up a little in the pitch which has been absolutely battered by the rain.

Decent half from Rapha, clearly very direct and a good runner, decent feet. Two good strikes at goal, decent dipping shot from about 25 yards that bounced awkwardly, and a free kick just wide. Left side of the Forest defense having a tough time when he runs at them.

Does he look like he could add something to the first team?

I would like to think so.

Bearing in mind this is based off 45 mins of U21s football on an absolute torrid pitch, but he seems strong with the ball at his feet. Imagine Mason-Clark style direct running, think we'll see him in the FA Cup should we draw a weaker side.

(Side note: good to see Milan, Norman and Fabio here supporting too. Drinking J2O's, very well behaved!)

any signs of him needing an oxygen mask? (just going by some of the rumours i've read on here.) 🙂

If he doesn't then the recruitment team has messed up. :sneaky:
Not necessarily, how much did he cost us?
He was (is) a young lad with some potential, he was a cheap punt, if it comes off then great, we're quids in, if it doesn't come, off we've lost very little.

I think people's expectations were pushed far too high when he signed, that's hardly his fault, he should of been announced as a development squad player, and that might have reduced the expectation level and bought him time.

Hopefully we've learnt from that.

Again good minutes for him a few others, it will do him the world of good. Hopefully we get to see him soon enough and if he is not ready L1 loan in Jan.

Not that I could see! Produced more of the same second half but no incisive touch in front of goal. Dausch perhaps should have scored but opted to shoot instead of play it across goal, hit the side netting.

Rapha produced some decent footwork down the right flank, he's got a bit of that stutter step that can knock a defender off balance, and then proceed to go either way with it. There's definitely something there!

Sounds encouraging, hopefully be in the squad over Christmas.

Agree. I make that 180 or so minutes of non-competitive football since moving halfway across the world as a 21 year old. Clearly a level above U21s so I imagine we may see him before long, but there should be 0 pressure on him.
Did Perry play, he was doing the lounges with mcsheffery Saturday came across very Well, looks a bit small for a centre half , they were his words,
