Agree with the first but do you really feel the others are a factor? As a footballer largely you have to be able to cope with that.Lack of experience, feeling under pressure, noticing the groans/abuse of fans etc.
Ball was played with pace and was slightly behind him and he still got a shot away that the keeper made a smart save fromAnyway this is goddens first touch yesterday , he actually lifts the ball off the floor instead of pushing it forward several yards .. it slowed him down View attachment 22485

Wow ok I’ll have to watch againI think the ball was fine , he just fucked up the initial touch
Slow it down to 0.25 x speed to really see how much his first touch fucks him upWow ok I’ll have to watch again
Sorry but referring to a section of our support, who are willing to support the players despite their mistakes, as a cult is pathetic and shameful
Fair from one who is cult like in my love for our playing staffIt depends on the level though. Supporting a player on the pitch even if they're playing poorly is great - it's constructive - but if someone on here points out a deficiency a player needs to improve and they get told to shut up and just support the players is cult like. Of course there are some who point out certain players mistakes more than others etc and can be overly critical but if someone refuses to acknowledge any problem then that is not constructive.
And in regards to dabo .
According to the well respected whosscored(used alot on here) .. he's having a slightly better season than maatson
Are you going the overall rating?
Yeah assists get big marksYea , which also has Todd kane slightly higher than dabo , to be fair with only 3 games played
Maatsen is 8th and Dabo 11th from what I can see

I an confirm this is the case. Not the same posters is it? If I remember correctly, Stu and CC4L rated Biamou
Same with Allen in second half. He got ball in box but he knew he wasn't fast or strong enough to do anything other than desperately get a shot off quickly.Anyway this is goddens first touch yesterday , he actually lifts the ball off the floor instead of pushing it forward several yards .. it slowed him down View attachment 22485

I didn't see that pass as on either and I am a visionaryLooked at vik straight away and he seemed to think Allen should have reversed the pass back to him, didn't look possible at the time
Sheaf is a young, developing player whereas Biamou was a senior squad member.
Tbf I think if O'Hare had placed it a couple of metre's further forward we'd be wondering if a confused lino would have raised his flag, I think the whole move was bang on from swift accurate passing .I think the ball was fine , he just fucked up the initial touch
Exactly, you'd have to be truly terrible to come up with something like that. It’s more the use of the word ‘cult’. Not sure where that’s come from but it’s ridiculous to label a section of fans as a cult whatever they believe

I think you're expecting premiership quality here Stu . sorry.I disagree the pass was behind him making slow down, having to swerve his body awkwardly to control ot and having the extra touch, which is why his touch is off. A better ball and and its one back foot touch control then finish or he hits it first time.

I'm really not wingy, I'm expecting championship quality. 100% at 17 years old Maddison plays that pass inch perfect.I think you're expecting premiership quality here Stu . sorry.
But he's having to slow down, swivel his body and take it with the wrong foot because its behind his run not infront of it.I also disagree , it's not behind him , it was the way he pushed it forward that done him , it came up off the floor View attachment 22487

This gets drilled into my 10 year old who plays week in week out.

But the ball caused his touch, because he's had to take it on the wrong foot.Like I said , the main thing that knackered him was the first touch.
The defender was also already in full sprint

O'Hare shouldn't be immune to criticism.

Doesn't help when your number 10 has just 1 in his last 52 appearances. As good as O'Hare is, his goal return is nowhere near good enough.
